1. Is God's will/porpoise for my life also a calling? For example if in God's will for my life there's marriage does that mean I'm called to marry? 2. Would it be God's will to leave an abusive household? 3. Would it be God's will to cut off ppl even your own parents if they are the ones abusing you? 4. Would it be in God's will to divorce? Obviously under specific circumstances like fornication. 5. Would it be in God's will for someone to be independent from anyone, specifically parents? Obviously always depending on God though.

How does one discern Gods will for his / hers own personal life. Example is God calling me into a specific ministry and if so which ministry. If he is calling us into ministry then we’re or what place does God desire us to be. I know we are to pray , read the Bible and seek Gods council but how can we know for sure Gods will for our individual life’s ?

I think we need to be careful in giving advice to anyone without knowing the context of his questions. Especially for younger people than may view boundaries imposed by parents as abuse. I might advise a person to pray for a wise counselor to come alongside and provide insight and perspective and care and prayerful encouragement. This is the power of community.

Ephsians doesn't only speak to wives to being submissive but to husbands also! Love your teachings, but too many preachers refuse to give the full meaning of this oart of scripture, causing it to be misused. God bless both men and women who submit and work with one another in a marriage. 🙏

Yea we are supposed to submit to eachother. But just like Christ had authority over the disciples we are called to have authority over our wife. Christ also lowered himself to a servant when washing disciples feet and other acts of love. So it is both submit but men are called in the church and at home to be the head, to be like Christ to his bride the church.

@@nathanpoole9661 Ephesians 20-21 needs to be read right along with verses 22 right on into verses 25 thru 33. If you don't, then you abuse and twist the scriptures! The majority of that section speaks of a husband devoted to the wife and loving her as his own body and self, and He to cherish her as Jesus does those who love and follow him and gives himself up for our good. Stating that the wife is to submit and leaving out the husband's corresponding responsibility is a gross misuse of scripture. Go read the full section as it is meant to be read and consider its fuller meaning. If you are a man who does his part as described here, then he will have women wanting to marry him and a happy life. If not, then he makes life miserable for all.

Why did Jesus say we don't receive him (Mark 9:37), nor do we believe on him (John 12:44): Jesus came to proclaim the Father and His words to us. We must receive the words of Jesus; only then do we receive God the Father. This is because the Word belongs to God. We must believe in the words of Jesus in order to believe in God the Father. Jesus is our only way of knowing, receiving, or believing in God. If we reject Jesus's words by not receiving or believing them, then we reject and do not believe or receive God. In other words, we must believe them both (John 17:22) The greatest gift God has given us was that he sent His Son so that we may learn, grow in, and know God the Father. It sounds pretty much like you are focusing on behavior and seeing people according to the flesh. Nothing about abundant life, wholeness, liberty, communication and fellowship with Father, Son, and Spirit. Anyone that has a genuine and tangible relationship with God can simply ask Him about His will in any situation if they are unsure about it. By the way, John MacArthur does not believe that it is God's will for all to be saved. He teaches that the majority of humanity has been preselected by his pagan god to be tortured eternally without mercy.
