Make sure all your ducks are in a row before you tell him. Mine broke things. He tore the house up looking for my jewelry so he could take it . Would take my wallet and keys and leave the house . This went on for over a year. He refused to leave my home. Just be careful. They turn into a different kind of beast when the rug gets pulled .. be safe

There is not a moment of peace. It’s constant wonder and worry as to what they’re doing who they’re on the phone with what are they thinking. Even when he’s with me and all seems to be OK my mind replays all the facts that I do know of what he’s doing. Then I find myself questioning. Could he really be lying this well? Could he have really be doing this all these years and I don’t know? You are in a constant state of the unknown. My heart is always racing and my gut feels like it’s twisted like a pretzel.

The fact is the narc cares about themselves first and only. We are just objects for them to use when convenient. Lying is how they get what they want. I was astounded at the dumb things the ex narc lied about. He lied so much that he couldn't keep them all straight. He isn't the brightest bulb. 😅

ou weeeeeeeeeee!!! I’m so glad I’m not magnetized trauma bonding with narcs anymore!! At the end of the day kids, it’s just dangerous to down right evil. This channel is great. I love how he explains everything. Also, remember at the end of day, you can’t be with narcs cuz they turn you into one. You end up grey rocking, and lying too!!! First step, get away from them totally, and then start to heal and relearn how to regulate your nervous system. Ta-dahhhhhhh!!! Do it! You will be free and a good person again. You are no good when you around a narcissist. You have the right to be angry, happy, sad, and make good decisions especially when it is a hard one. Don’t look for a magical carpet ride thru life. Be prepared to say no and walk away when you have to from people and situations. Don’t go down these dark roads that are everywhere in life. Stay of the lighted path!!!!

Insanely true.. every word.. it took me 2 years to remove the mental shackles he's placed me in... Even after he'd long gone back to his! I had all of these stories, excuses ready for him, serring him up to come back into my life the second be was ready to..after screwing things up or getting bored with his ex.. who is also a narcissist. Even when the narcissist is telling the truth about something it will always be half-truths. They cannot tell the whole truth, everything must be embellished to make them sound like the perfect person or the hero. We have a daughter who lies almost every time she opens her life always to make herself look special.

Funny you saying all this. I went thro it this past summer with my xnarc. A Narc will dance around the "issue"... forever... I gave him a $1,000 to get his Harley on the road. He then rode 8hrs away to try to reconnect with his X. Smashed the bike. Came home...wanting to reconnect..saying that he didnt sleep with her!! Im like dude....just the money i gave u and u riding to her is enough for me to end this circus....bye jerk.

This popped up at a good time. I just went back to my partner after two weeks of “I’m sorry, I’ll change” - I left because he was giving me the cold shoulder and silent treatment for 4 weeks, littered with constant criticism about everything I said (I’m not exaggerating I literally couldn’t have a normal convo with him in this time). If it wasn’t criticism it was “jokes” at my expense, or bossing me and controlling me and then getting angry, belittling comments, staring me down. It was awful! So I left. Went back - BIG mistake. He “joked” that he cheated on me (funny joke?!), then also wouldn’t answer his phone when he was at the shop apparently, and then finally did but it was just … shady. Something was off. And he had to go quickly, then wouldn’t call me back… this instances had happened also in that 4 weeks of hell. I’m sure he had someone else He’s spent the night gaslighting me that I ruined the night, and he was “so looking forward to seeing me”, and that I was being paranoid and crazy. Just circular arguments. I would point out other times he lied about where he was. His response “I’m not lying”, so I would say “but you have before” him - “when?” Me - point out the instances again… “but I’m not lying” Ugh. I give up man.

When you decide that you need to become a detective in a relationship (romantic or platonic), it’s when you know it’s time to leave or don’t be too emotionally invested in the person (if it’s just a friendship).

His idea was for me to cancel my apartment, leave my life behind in another city, and move in with him-so I did. After a year of living with him, I still didn’t have a closet, a drawer, or anything of my own. All my belongings were kept outside, covered with a blanket. My laundry stayed in bags the entire time. All I got from him were empty words and promises. I was alone in his house while he was gone all day, working somewhere. He didn’t even have coffee with me in the morning; instead, he drank his coffee at the bar next to our house. Commands, tasks, criticism, disrespect, mocking-that was my everyday life. Once, he asked me to mow the grass, so I did, and I cleaned everything else up as well. When he came home, he didn’t even say hello to me. Then he went out to a restaurant for dinner and didn’t ask if I was hungry too. So, yeah... The last words I said to him were: "You know... you are not human. The one thing that makes humans human, you lack-and that is a soul. That’s what separates us from animals: the soul. And you don’t have that."

@RawMotivations it's tough. I had just got out of a 5yr relationship with a covert narcissist when I let a much younger woman move in. She was a different type of narcissist but an even more deceitful person. Both have substance abuse issues, so I justied their behavior. The dishonesty and future faking just blows my mind. How can anyone be so terrible?!

I am a prisoner in my home,,, if i want to go to church he warns me,, there will be hell to pay... He has many friends and is such a great manipulator that when he has physically hurt me n i called the cops they tell me that i should leave... How can i leave when i am now constantly sick and depressed. I live in a crap house,,, mind u its all my fault even though i have never mattered in any decision he has had to make because God for id he not have complete n total control of every single breath i take. Try to work a little everyday on your exit plan. Talk to your bank. Call a lawyer and get advice so you can get a picture of what your life will be without him. Get the advice of the lawyer and start slowly making changes over time. If he is violent, go to a women’s and children’s shelter, there is no reason to put up with this. Press charges.

So i voice recorded my lovely ex narcissist going into a rage, nothing new ok. But about 4 minutes into it she switched over and began putting herself down then flapping her arms, crying and saying crazy things like "sleepyhead" "im so sad" and "my butt hurts" "everything hurts" then she began hitting herself in the arm and head. She was completely in a different world because she didn't listen to a word i said while i was trying to help her. After a while of this she switched back to putting me down but she changed her voice and was very tired. Can a narcissistic rage start narcissistic then autistic then back to narcissistic. Ive searched KZbin rages and have yet to here anything like this.

Never thoughtful. That would take conscious time & effort to dedicate to what would make you happy. They’d rather give you a $500 necklace with *NO RETURN POLICY* than a $100 thing you *REALLY* wanted & spoke about for months. Even if they weren’t listening, asking you what you’d like is too much emotional labour. Because the $500 throw in the trash necklace is mentally the easiest option. Plus when you’re not brimming with joy over your $500 value ‘gift’ they go on the offence. They’ve *WASTED* that money on you. You’re *ungrateful* and *greedy* for not being happy with $500 of token value. And they expect $500 worth of adoration, compromise, submissive obedience in return for the generous sacrifice of *THEIR* $500. In reality that money was never given to you, they basically threw it down the drain. At least $500 of gift cards would’ve been spent on the thing that you’ve been waiting all year for. But that wouldn’t make them look good in the eyes of strangers. They’d rather the supply come from trying to impress the uncomfortable sales girls at the jewellery store.
