How to know if you are ready to start locs

I scored a 7, but I am 14 months in. I was worried about the ugly phase. I almost gave up every other week. However, my friends and coworkers, who have beautiful locs, helped me through it. My loose natural hair was a full-time job sometimes. I'm glad I quit that job. I love the simplicity and freedom of my locs.

I scored a 7 but I don't think one of the questions was scored improperly. The question about looking forward to buying products for your locs. True was 1 and false was 2. I think it should have been the other way around. That's the question that sent me over the top. I was not looking forward to buying products. Actually I was locking forward to keeping it simple with my locs. Very interesting questions. FYI, I am 14 months into my microlocs journey. Best decision I have made for my hair.

My score was 6. ITA about doing a self-assessment on why wearing locs is important to commit to one's loc journey. I've started my locs over too many times to count, & had to ask questions to identify the problem to come up with a viable solution of wearing locs again.

My score was a six, I answered true to starting my loc’s because I got tired of getting my natural hair styled. I’ve had my loc’s going on nine years and I’ve loved every minute of it., including the ugly stage.
