I would suggest that the "options = freedom to walk" hypothesis is one side of a coin. The other side of that same coin is "having the option to have whomever you want, but CHOOSING to be committed to the partner you are with is the highest level of commitment." Because you DO have the option to walk away. You could hermit crab up to a bigger shell. A new person. Or just go to that perceived greener grass. Because it will always be greener somewhere else, if you're only looking for that. However! I feel like I agree with everything in this video except for around the 21 minute section. I had an ex-girlfriend who made more money than I did at the time working as a bartender. I always tried to pay for dinners, dates, trips etc. but she was very opposed to it. She worked 3 days a week, I worked five or six. I made decent money myself but she rejected any attempt I made to treat her to anything. I don't think you're wrong in general saying that high value women want to be treated as well, but from experience that's not always the case. I think to her, earning more money was leveraged for control in the relationship. My time was scarce due to work, but that's all she demanded. That first two minutes where they talk about attractive people and options... That exact same concept applies to friendships and social skills. People will tell you they don't believe they need friends or support or companionship to do simple tasks in life, but they say that not realizing how much support they have in their lives. That support, that reassurance of having something to fall back on, that belief, whether conscious or subconscious is necessary to make any progress in life. Most importantly is the ability to make friends. Without that ability, life is a losing battle. Like I said, the support doesn't actually even have to be there, but the belief must be. Having options allows people to take more chances, it makes them feel like they can. This is important knowledge people just overlook, but it applies to and determines the relationship qualities in your life

Learn from it, but not by attacking yourself, but seeing the whole situation, and where she matches, you matches or not etc. You shouldn't think about if you are attractive or not, that will lead you down a path of self-hate, and one that advertizers exploit. Improve yourself for your own good, where it matters, not where other people tell you to change. Be rational about it and listen to people who aren't shallow, status obsessed or otherwise ideological. Improvement should be rational, such as health (not fitness crazy for example, which people confuse with health).

Her target audience is the "average man". This is her work. What she does in her personal life is completely different. Would she go for Joe Six-Pack working 2nd shift at the plant? No. Look at her. What would you expect? Dating women is like buying a car. Some guys can own a fleet of exotic sports cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.). Some may only be able to purchase a new Toyota. Another can only afford a used Chevy. The next guy can only take the bus. You can get transportation, but you have to focus what you can afford. You may admire that Lamborghini, but perhaps the best you can do is a used car. Joe Six-Pack is a used Chevy pickup. Sadia is a Lamborghini. They don't reside in the same garage.

She comes across as perfect. Even in watching this conversation. Me I’m way too disciplined. My philosophy is simple - heaven - no matter what it takes. So all these things that He calls hard are easy to me. Unfortunately my wife went into crazy mode 10 months ago and left the house with my 2 daughters. I must confess, it’s increasingly difficult as a man who makes 6 figures to be alone for that long. All the girls you said no to - before you know what’s happening you start getting a urge to call them. But I’m way too disciplined. What I have decided to do in my spare time is to travel to Africa and help struggling orphanages. I think I will be able to transfer all this excess love that I have to those struggling children.

Well one thing is also often true. We only have so much time. If a guy clearly spends lots of time at the gym, he may skimp in other areas, like intellectual pursuits. If you do get to speaking with him, and he is not balanced, sure on the surface he looks good, but he may likely be a few beats behind upstairs. If a woman is going to university, and / or graduate school, her lifestyle shapes her to be a thinking person. Listening to how many reps he does at the gym, or what type of protein he consumes, only goes so far. If he's a good guy, that's another draw, but it won't make up for it if he just doesn't truly have tons to say. And then there is the spiritual aspect. Is he practicing Zen, or is he just empty / sweet, but dull. Intellect, and spiritual development, get better as we age, muscles eventually age and droop, same as a pretty face. And if he is trying to get you to come along to participate at the gym, and it's not her thing, what else does he offer to do? A physical sport with more strategy, that she is good at, might surprise him! Tennis, golf etc. Are all those muscles useful, rather than simply for show?

The problem is when you are rejected by a woman you are in love with. Being rejected by a random pretty girl can be trained. Between 15 and 30, my problem was that i fell in love before i made the move. My recommandation is indeed to make the move with girls you're not in love with. Risk being that you'll have to stop the relationship once you realise you're not falling in love after.
