gotta love the Runner's knot which you explained at the end. at times, if a shoe is half a size up, and you feel heel slipping, runner's knot not only fixes that, it helps make it a better shoe as you have now room in the front and no heel slippage. now buying running shoes, I always look for shoes that will have runner's knot hole available

Got a question. Normally we lace from the inside of an eyelet then out, and we can easily tighten however we want, right? I just bought new shoes from adidas, and the laces were tied from the outside in of every eyelet. And i noticed this puts the laces almost fixed, like you can't tighten them much, except at the end where you do the bunny ears, making it more secure. What is this technique and what's it for?
