The foundation of all of your lessons have been instrumental to my personal development. Serve others. It really does all come down to figuring how how to provide a value to someone.

Hi Pat, your videos come up quite a bit when I've searched for tips on starting a podcast, so I went ahead and subscribed. Thanks for the tips and helpful advice. My friend and I are resellers on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, local online classifieds....and we're about to start our podcast this week (recording Oct 12th 2022, and releasing the Monday after that). We have a youtube channel for it, and will be on the major podcast platforms, and we also have an Instagram page with more social media to follow. Our podcast will be Resellers Anonymous Podcast, if you find the youtube channel with a shadow silhouette of two people on a red background with an RA in a circle, that's us! Thanks again Pat, and continued success to you!

Leaning into having guests hopefully soon, a good takeaway is not always having to land or going for the big fish when it comes to guests. 🎣

I'll start doing videos again and eventually I'll have a podcast. The advice I think it's more useful for me. Is invite people I already know. Thank you for such great video.

Pat, thank you!!!! I just launched my podcast and Matt King (CEO of Gobundance) and Sarah Weaver (Bigger Pockets, 30 Day Stay book) and i got them because I was present in other places. My podcast is Small Steps Big Wins with Sue Saller. I have launched my podcast by binging on your videos.

Very Very helpful and informative. This has honestly helped me allocate a lot of the ideas or thought processes I have had on how to 'get the ball rolling'. You truly have a gift Sir, very well structured in of yourself and your sentences;, you know exactly what the message is and how to convey it to others to make it easier for people of all different types of backgrounds to easily understand and apply in their goals. Thank you!

Thank you so much, Pat. You always provide great content so freely. Love it. I host the Write Something Worthy Podcast to help nonfiction authors to write books that are best seller worthy. Tip #1 was a great reminder for me. I know a lot of people, but haven’t kept in strong touch with them. Maybe it is time to rejuvenate relationships. Tips 2-4 were also good reminders for me. Being helpful is always beneficial, regardless. As a ghostwriter, book editor, and book coach, applying those tips should be easy. I just need to invest the time. Thanks again.

Very interesting perspective Pat. I've just launched a podcast which is in 100% slow English. I will take these points into account when reaching out for a guest in the future! 💪

Thanks Pat, great video. As I love to read often connecting with an author really resonated with me. Also, we include guests who are mentors that share their innovation, transformation and leadership journey expertise which resonates with our audience. Thanks to your mentorship we officially launched our podcast last week As-Is ToBe and just reached our 50th download. Many thanks.

Those are super useful tips, Pat! Do you have any specific advice for bringing in a big guest that is not a content creator or celebrity, but is more a big business person that is less well-known to the wider public?

Thanks Pat! Awesome as usual! I’m a big time networker but haven’t had a problem reaching out to others except... I have been a little shy about reaching out to bigger names. I like the tip for sending something physical as well as a short video clip. Thanks again Titans of Transition, on audio platforms and KZbin

Love this, Flynn. Getting bigger named folks on my show, I have straight up just DMed people and asked. A lot said yes. That's how I got Matthew Berry from ESPN on my show, for instance. But you gave me some more tips I'd love to use in the future, especially the short video. My podcast is Get Real with Kacey Kasem. I interview folks in the fantasy football industry to get a behind the scenes look at their lives.

This is really helpful, I am new to podcasting and this was really helpful , I already used the first and second point of working with those I know and reaching out through a mutual friend for my Podcast Called -2 Cents of Fashion , and I would definitely be putting a couple more points to work especially the last point.

Under employed? Become a journalist/broadcaster overnight. Do your local area news/sports. Start by reading headlines from local papers. Record council meetings, local school sports. local lore. Sell local ads. People like local stuff. Parents like to see their kids at games. Start small, get big. Potential is very high verses investment.
