Pat, I feel like you’re the only KZbinr giving actual good advice. Most other KZbinrs that talk about this kind of stuff only grew a following by telling others how to grow a following. All the content on KZbin is geared toward business or using KZbin to grow your business where as you’re the only one that went into the entertainment side and can speak directly to people like me It’s very hard to find good advice for entertainment channels

Out of all the thousands of ‘personal branding guru coaches coaching coaches to be personal brands that don’t have a personal but want to build a brand as coach who builds personal branding coaches’ Idk why tf you haven’t made a 2.0 Superfans book AND course. A HUGE launch. BIG ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION & a mission based (identity marketing) 2 year trickle down campaign that sets a new precedent and a whole new movement. HONESTLY ….. You Pat, are in the top 5 who can teach on this topic. Beg you see this or someone you know tells you, and it becomes a reality. SUPERFANS!!!!!

I really need this. I’ve been trying to figure this out for like 10 years. I’m in the Funko Pop niche but there’s not really too much I can do in that niche other than what everyone else is doing which is new release news, showcasing, and mystery box opening. I grew a following on tiktok to almost 2M followers because I started a trend in the niche. I blew up so fast that I didn’t have a next step. I never pivoted so I just kept milking the same content and plateaued for 3 years. I tried everything I can think of to revive my account with no luck. I’ve recently been aggressively consistent with making more community style content and it seems to be working as well as engaging with the community. Right now I’m pivoting into more of an art channel with a focus on Funko pops.

Pat, this was a great video. I heard you you talk a little about the brand hand on the Grow With Video Summit so when your video popped up on my feed, I had to tune in. This was a lovely presentation and it made so much sense. I’m leaning into it. I know who I’m serving and why. I already have the know. Like, and trust factor but I’m going to lean into it with more historical authority. Thank you for the inspiration.

I have 5 key tasks that I HAVE repeat EVERY DAY, 6 day per week for years. My channel is only 1200 subscribers, but I’ve made multiple -figures with my personal brand. I use organic strategies. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I feel like this video addressed my comment on your last video. Yes!!! That's what you do well. You connect with people's needs!! Most people spend way too much time on the ideas and the products, but they don't validate what people need and want. I find that most new entrepreneurs focus too much on what they want to create instead of the actual market demand. You can't force people to understand your vision. Your vision needs to align with what they already want and need.

Next please explore on product creation and its development. Notes: If Pat Flynn started a personal brand in 2024, he'd do this: 1) Talk with your ideal target audience 2) Find their personal, professional, life purpose, pursuits, ambitions 3) Find the problems (lack of confidence in __ , Fear of failure, Imposter syndrome, perfection, external factors) 4) Platform, a place to connect with them. (Create unique experienced content, strong conviction, brand your frameworks) 5) Product In short: Find a problem that you struggled with, there you find yourself, your pursuits, ambitions, your problems and where you & target audience hangs around.

What i wonder about this notion of "who" is this: how well does this need to be defined, and what are possible structures about this to constrain to... e.g. in the past i have run companies that we had a very tight customer avatar with demographic and psychographic definitions... but as I start my own brand, it feels like the target is very different, not just a specific type of customer, but the change agents that are looking for tools to change the world with... yet the way that sounds doesn't really sound like the segments that I have done in the past. Do you have examples of different people defining "who" somewhere? I get the concept that you're pointing to, I just don't get how with a personal brand that this gets defined.. given that we're not talking about a specific product to sell, but more of a conceptual need that a group of people might have. Any insight, especially with examples, are appreciated. Thanks. Great video.

I've had a challenge with people that care. I've been speaking on the fact that sales professionals in business to business companies have atrocious turnover which hurts the companies and the sales professionals having unstable work life 😢 I have interviewed hundreds of companies and they all said they have terrible turnover among salespeople and ask them why don't they change they just say they don't know really what to do. Not getting too deep but now companies are holding marketing and revenue leaders all responsible and the turnovers of all dropped under 2 years😢😢😮 how can that be good for a company it can't. I can't seem to find anybody in a company that seems to care. Any ideas? You say to find the who I can't seem to find anybody that wants to do anything different just keep it the status quo is crushing companies. Turnover rate amongst go to market add revenue leaders is dropping like a rock😢😢😢😅😮

On the PLATFORM you're on, you're doing a few things: 1. Demonstrating you understand what your person is going through (through the language you use and the questions you answer based on the problems. 2. Showing proof that you're the person to listen to - case studies, frameworks, ideas to help people through those problems - and again all of this framed through the above. Tips/strategies/help. 3. Connections to other people in the industry - authority through association. 4. Reactions / news - updates in the industry so the audience knows you're on top of it and are staying up to date. 5. Personal events and occurrences that relate to the audience on all of the above. There are a ton of things you can create content about but if you're not sure WHAT exactly to create content about, you haven't done enough research and digging into who your target audience is and what they want and need.
