How to: Larger tires on front (stock rear tires)

In this video, we show how to make stock, rear tires fit on the front spindles without having to weld on spindle extensions. Be sure to check your measurements and clearances before and during cutting/grinding. Always use proper safety equipment and build it strong!

hey guys if you just grind a flat spot on the edge before you go for the angle cut it will be esier to get the cut started be kool stay safe man

a 5/8" piloted or 3/4" piloted 1.25" cutter will cut the spindle down without any sparks. just use a 1/2" drill.

you can use those little 3 inch metal cutoff wheels and an arbor chucked into a drill and cut that off pretty quick.

Hell yeah guy good job but I would lock the diff i have a offroad lawn tractor and it helps a lot wheni drive it in the snow, I was going in reverse and smoked a tidy tank and it's still lock and good

I got a 1999 Murray 20hp fast for racing. And a craftsman 19.5 hp with 36 inch super swampers couldn't mount bigger tires on front. I am going to try this !

I'm sure you can. Depends on how much of the hub shaft sticks out on the outside, and if you can get your grinder in there.

You don't need a welder to lock the diff just add a third Spyder gear that's what I did to my Craftsman in the thing is a beast

i think a grinder stone may work much better for the finish grinding? sanding pads are for sanding, grinding stones are for removing? that may make it a bit faster and better.

safety say no the sanding disk is preferred. it cuts faster and throws smaller and less sparks. only when you get into the 120 grit does it slow down in removal rate.

if 1 gas tank is tide into the other, other tank being higher the higher tank WILL Sisyphean into the lower tank that will cause a issue think about that? liquid 1 being higher than liquid 2 the higher will back flow to the lower till it is equal not a good idea???
