Hi guys - I wanted to share how I make my morning skincare routine count without leaving skin frazzled! Building an effective morning routine with azelaic acid takes a little more care and consideration when your PM plan is retinoid-focused.
Whilst on the one hand you want to be careful of your skin barrier, especially in the early days of retinisation, you also want to make sure your skin is properly protected against environmental aggressors.
The key to a success, ultimately, the fewest number of layers for maximum impact - this routine is quick, efficient and works brilliantly for my skin.
As always, thank you so much for watching and for all your support!

For those disheartened about it being geared towards her brand, you just gotta customize it towards your own products! Here’s mine for combo rosacea acne skin! 1. Cleanser- La Roche Normal to Oily 2. Azelaic Acid-The ordinary (AM) Paula’s Choice (PM) 3. Niacinamide- The Ordinary 4. Moisturizer-La Roche Double Matte (AM) Cerave Daily Moisturizer (PM) 5. SPF-La Roche mineral 6. Tinted Moisturizer-DRMTLGY 7. Lip Balm- Cerave Healing Ointment

Hi Sam I am trialing nightly pro and absolutely love it. The difference was almost immediate. My problem is I have bottles of nightly to use up once I’ve finished trialing but will my skin take a backward step if I stop using the pro which I feel reluctant to do because I am getting such fantastic results with it but I can’t justify not using the FN up

I’ve been enjoying her videos so far but pretty annoyed by the clickbait heading since I was specifically after a video on layering Azelaic acid, of which this is not. I think it was in the first product but even if that had been made clear, that does not give a video worthy of the title. If people are asking for a video about layering Azelaic acid, assuming that’s why you titled this as such, how about just make it instead of filming yourself doing your skincare..

After I use azeleic acid at night, my skin gets super red during the day. I just started using it and am alternating nights. Is my skin reacting in some way and do I need to lessen the frequency and slowely build up? Or is there a bigger issue and is azeleic acid not for my skin. (I use the ordinary one)

Same thing happen to me , but I got redness + a little of irritation and itchiness , I also started using differin 2 months ( very slowly ) before azaleic acid , differin was so worst at first even if I started with just 2 days per week , now I use differin one night and the next night azaleic acid and it getting better and better , it’s even minimize the redness of differin . I use azaleic acid from Isispharma is a French brand 15% , it’s go to the skin like water it’s so matte and it have no fragrance and it cost just 20 euros in Europe , the company have a lot of research about azaleic acid they make their own one that’s why they have a special azaleic acid that make the product so matte

Both the actives she used have azelaic acid in them. You could follow her routine with cheaper products, it's just a cleanser, azelaic acid or salicylic acid serum, moisturiser and sunscreen. I use Dr Sam's serums but I like cerave cleanser and moisturiser and Eucerin sunscreen (I prefer chemical sunscreens) these are cheaper but offer the same results.

Please please please as a dermatologist please explain because this is the most annoying thing when everybody is showing not overlap in southern ingredients but then followed by moisturiser and mixing all all together because end of the day the main moisturiser must move things around what is underneath I always feel like the moisturiser or a mix of things together anyway and if I don’t want salicylic acid under my eyes the moisturiser will move that salicylic acid from T zone to under my eyes if I start mixing together moisturiser all over the face or Active ingredients already absorb and moisturiser can’t move them around please please explain that because that always bother me and I know I’m not only one person think this way 🙏🙏🙏😘🫶

I think there are many, look at the comments, who rankle over the entire video containing only your products. I understand you said this is your routine so you use what works for you and if that is your own products then fine. But maybe your title should change to reflect this. Also, as you were applying the products it would be helpful to have the ingredients included at that point. If you were making a video to explain how to layer Azelaic Acid maybe you should have. For instance, Azelaic Acid works best with/shouldn’t be used with, should be used before/after ‘X’ product(s). Finally, alternatives to your own products would have been very helpful to so many. I really enjoy your videos, I like listening to you, I even would like to try some of your products in the future. But this is disappointing, and is not the first time I’ve watched a video of yours that seems like an advert. I know this may seem blunt, but sometimes things need to be said and I hope you will understand this is constructive criticism and not meant to be mean or hateful, etc, just honesty. And in the name of transparency I claim the 👎🏼

I used to watch your channel all the time but lately all you seem to do is talk about your line of products and the problem is not everybody has your collection, not everybody wants to buy and it not everybody can afford it -personally I can’t use it because I can’t use anything with vitamin C in it so I really wish you would go back to talking about the types of products required rather than your brand I appreciate that the products are probably very good but it excludes a lot of people. 🤨

@@remionekenobi2444 This is where videos by Beauty Within & unfortunately, Dr Dray do excel. I have kind of a love / hate feeling about Dr Dray. She is very Informative about Ingredients, but kind of “ woke “ & at 59, I’m not going to be that. She is also a vegan who works out so much, she could be Skelators sister, Shellytor. A little humor there. Seriously though, she is skin & bone. But as a Dermatologist, she at least knows Ingredients for many products out there.😉

Thank you for bringing the subject…. Well taken if you’re doing it with out a dermatologist it’s kind of tricked because there so mami products particularly here in the USA ….. remember quality does matter dosage is the key and been patience’s There is many channels now that that is promoting Over the counter very good affordable and years of experience I would recommend L’Oréal line that it’s one of the first to introduce retinol to the market more than twenty years a ago check it out … But really appreciated your comment…. I really appreciated her she present herself with class and elegance her knowledge at out services is noble….and really tell what it’s behind the industry…..And their is there lots and lots of alternatives with her you get the knowledge of how To navigate and know how to use it the many choices Even holistic so your point is well taken and because of it I have notice that now she give Alternatives not of just promoting her products because May be she didn’t see it in her circles no malice on her part ! But your point stirred her to think of the others ….. We all do this loose prospective So bravo to you ✨👏💖 And blessings to her for putting her knowledge to our services win win situation all the best!
