Hi. I dunno honestly. I relatively miss it too but it's pretty much a lot of work with these videos and for some reason I don't have the energy at the moment

Sharing Valuable knowledge as always, thanks man!! I do a lot of dips per month and I have always ‘jumped up’ to start. This week I started pushing into the first dip from my feet on the floor at a static position (after a few sets warmup). Man it’s a killer. Not seen anyone else starting their dips with hands on bar and feet on floor…..is there a reason? I figure it’s a true full range of movement performed only on first dip each set and should be done to avoid weakness in that area. But then what do I know?😂

What do you think about lean bulk? How should you approach gaining weight with calisthenics? Thank yoy
@spicypunch60296 ай бұрын
Do you think ring training can get the same hypertrophy stimulus as regular calistenics or Weightlifting?
@OldSchoolCalisthenics6 ай бұрын
Less stimulus on ring. The more stable, the better. So for hypertrophy only, don't do ring dips, do bar dips. Inverted rows are great though, pull-ups too
@spicypunch60296 ай бұрын
@@OldSchoolCalisthenics thank you. But for what do you recommend ring Training
@OldSchoolCalisthenics6 ай бұрын
For overloading some rotational small muscles on connection with the large ones. Like pronated muscles, supinated muscles in the forearms. I mostly prefer bar work, steady and stable
@spicypunch60296 ай бұрын
Why do you prefer high Volume calistenics instead of weighted calistenics??
@OldSchoolCalisthenics6 ай бұрын
I actually prefer both and not necessarily many reps, but control and technique now

Been doing your push-pull leg 5-day split from the high-volume calisthenics book but was concerned at the lack of cardio/hit workouts programmed through the weeks. I was wondering should I do two-a-days? So like one of your cardio/hit routines in the morning and then the strength session in the afternoon or would it be more practical to just assign more cardio-based training on separate days? I’ve been doing calisthenics for about 2 years consistently and built a fair amount of muscle. I wanna get bigger and lose that last bit of fat in the process but I don’t wanna lack when it comes to my cardio. Thanks in advance!

Hey adorian, do u thinks i can do pull ups, dips, push ups, row pistol burpees and pylo everyday if i have a very good lifestyle and i take a rest day or two if I’m to sore ?
@OldSchoolCalisthenics4 ай бұрын
Yes, but then you won't be training the most out of each like when you focus separately on pull and push, legs with core and cardio. You will gain some benefits of all worlds

Hi brother I am starting volume training in 2-3 days Like high reps training For eg - Pulls 10 sets of 10 reps banded pull ups 5-7 reps of weighted rows Bicep curls Push - 10 sets of 10 reps dips Inclined pike push ups for some sets and reps In the end some push ups 20-30 Legs , same formula I can avoid curls if you say? Weekly PPL or Push+ pull Legs Rest Push + pull Legs Rest Rest My pull ups are bad I can only do 2-3 pull ups , but my brother said don't do pull ups with resistance band also I was training with bands but nothing good happened So should I go with banded or normal pull ups ?
