I'm at a B2 level in German. I studied using the "Learn with German Stories" app from the Playstore, and it was very effective for me. I learned German through stories.

Ola, Aline!

@@deutschha 1 month is enough for preparation ??
@deutschhaАй бұрын
For me it was! But only because I studied already C1 courses back then and reviewed B2 very slow, at the time I teached already volunteer and by doing it I reviewed even more basic topics and then I took a hole month to do my preparation with 4 Modellsatz and that was enough. So it is really about your personal journey and how you prepared ALREADY for this moment in the past months and years. Is never about the month before, it is always about the first day you started learning 🇩🇪 at the first place 😌🤓📚

4:57 2-3 hours per week ? are you sure ? :)
@deutschhaАй бұрын
I am pretty sure did it myself for years, teached many, I wrote the script, and recorded a video about it, so yeah, my suggestion is 2-3 per week. (the same as a normal course if you would take one) Which doesnt mean it will work for everyone ;) give it a try, try more or less. Important is to keep going and not give up ;)

@@deutschha If someone learn a language in 3 hours a week , i will run in the street naked.
@deutschhaАй бұрын
hahahaha well you havnt meet my students yet. I have one that woke up for a YEAR twice a week 3 am, which means 4 HOURS lessons a week at 3 am and still doing the homework after that. Which was a lot, cause it was intense. She is in B1 after one year and living in Germany now. I am also someone that studied german more then 3 hours a week for a time in my life. I teached german and ha a C1 already after 3 years studying it. But why to share with you now cases like this? Cause everyone has their own journey, goals and time. Our cases are very specific indeed. So remember your personal goals with german, if you are studying for fun or travel or just as hobbies. But you must understand that there are people needing a visa, because a job oportunity or their family, they stop months of their lives, they study more then 5 hours a day and dont waste their time commenting on youtube how much 3 hours means to them because 3 hours REALLY means a lot to them. I get it why this impress you, I truly do. It is not possible for EVERYONE all the time, but it is possible. And with my experience and all the people I know learning german, I can tell you that. Specially in a culture moment where we think learning is playing for 10 minutes a day on an app. I just see frustation afterall. Thats why you were here searching for answers, thats why learning alone makes you fell lost. So I personal think learning takes a lot of time and will never end. The best answer is not 3 hours per week, is everyday all the time forever. If this makes you feel anxious, accept that and reflect on why. you dont must feel less if you study less, you just have to be more patient then. Make sure to have friends and people around you that are open to study and motivate you as well. We wont make it on our own, learning is a process we do with others, communicating and using a language is somethign we will be doing with others as well. (this was also my disclaimer at the beginning of the video, the problem of learning alone is that this really wont work) Thank you for sharing your struggles and questiosn with us ;) feel welcomed here in our community to find friends and study german with us together. If not feel free to go, we dont must agree on how much time you should study - you will know it better than I do. I just hope you can find your own journey learning german alone and your perfect amount of time as well for your goals. I made this video to help you and others to reflect about it, I am happy it worked. We wont be replying your comments anymore after this one, took me a lot of time indeed to explain you this all and I hope it helped. Bis dann!
@karimsm3132Ай бұрын
@@deutschha wow wow take it easy , my intention was not to hurt someone reading my comment or criticize you personally , i think you misunderstood what i've said . I meant that learning a language need more than 3 hours a week , it need at least 2-3 hours a day , and you said it yourself , some people study for 5 hours a day. with 3 hours a week i think someone will reach A2 level in about 1.5 years or something. which is too long .
@deutschhaАй бұрын
halli hallo Karim, thank you for making it more clear! It was not clear in your last comments what you meant - actually they were blocked by youtube itself and I used to give a look at them once a month to make sure someone is actually well intended but youtube happens to block them. I guess that was your case and my interpretation. Now I get what was really your opinion about the amount fo hours, is hard to express ourselves in other languages online and with short lines, so thank you so much for making it more clear ;) great to know that you recognize the effort and the time that it takes. P.S. i dont think 1.5 year is too long, again "alles mit der Ruhe", cause patience goes along with every learning process ;) viel Erfolg beim Deutsch Lernen, Aline.

How could you autobus?! As someone that learned german alone and with teachers for 6 years and now a teacher myself (since 3 years) I had to share this disclaimer at the beginning of the video (problably when you stopped watching) cause it isnt easy to learn alone. Thats why so many are watching the video, searching an answer and trying to find solutions. Thats why you were here and thats my honest opinion. Cause it isnt an easy way. But it is a way that I am supporting how I can since 3 years offering VOLUNTEERED lessons and FREE content/ lessons here in MY channel. So of course there is MY WORK being shared here. Not AD. I wish you a nice journey learning german by yourself. Maybe when you are done with it you create a channel and teach others for NOTHING (cause no, our channel is not even monetized. But thanks for sharing your thoughts, our community would appreciate if next time it could be a nice Tipp or suggestion for others to learn also with you 📚
