When you break up with a narcissist, you will miss him. However, what you are missing is who he pretended to be. A fictitious character you were in love with. He was emotionally detached the entire time. That’s why he can walk away with such ease. The mind wants closure because A normal good hearted woman cannot understand what just happened to her. And people around her don’t offer support because they think it’s just a typical relationship break up, not covert continuous abuse. So we go looking for intellectual closure on KZbin for videos. You will never get an apology. You will never get closure from this individual. In fact they are blaming you when they speak with others. Playing victim, hoping to get sympathy and work their way into the next woman’s house heart and home. And bank account and credit. Be careful.

That’s how I found out all these marriages, divorces, women and different home addresses and emails and phone numbers. And jobs. No stability. They lie lie lie. The truth is in the stories of the exs . And there’s ex in different states .... Danbury Connecticut , Fairfax Virginia and Gurley Alabama Do credit check, sex offender registry and STD/HIV/HPV tests too . Protect yourself. Forget the charm and romance. It’s a distraction. I was in a relationship with a narcissist for three long years and stayed connected to him a year after we separated before I ended it completely. This relationship took me to places and depths that I have never been to before EVER but it was in that low place that God showed me who I was and who he is in my life. God showed me how this man manipulated me and why I fell for it and why I stayed as long as I did. I hate to say this but sometimes we need something unusual to wake us up and catch our attention. I'm finally in a place where I date with purpose, wisdom, and guidance. I have learned to pay attention to warning signs early. I also realized that it's okay to wait on God and his timing.

Responding from a place of emotions is reacting the way they want you too. The important thing to remember is, in order to keep your sanity, if you are Christ like is to focus on God to validate you, and be led by God as to what you should do, how you should respond and as to how you are to exit. Staying is not an option, however, I do understand buying time until you could make it out of an unhealthy situation. Remember, God in you is bigger than the Narcissist, it’s not that they are powerful, it just simply that in their minds they are willing to risk it all, have no remorse, respect and no real conscious so that’s what makes the situation dangerous because your not dealing with a person that can truly do self inventory or is willing to change. Now, for the ones that think God will change them, he would if they were willing to accept change, but in the mean time, they are not about that life and you have to do what is right for you and your family. Pray from a distance in other words.

At this exact moment, crying myself to sleep, in my narcissistic lover’s bed, while he is in the living room, drinking and playing loud music, I PRAY for the day I’m completely disconnected from this person. I thank God I found you pastor, and as I’m reading these comments of people who overcame this situation I can’t wait for that to be me. I can’t bare anymore pain. I’m going to use this comment as a mark of the day I decided to set free from this trap that I’ve been calling a relationship for a year. God bless you all... 💕

Today I finally realized that he is a narcissistic and never loved me. He love bombed me for 9months and then his true colors started showing... I’ve never felt so miserable and even lost control over my actions because I got so emotionally involved and I could feel that he wasn’t...! But he just keeps going after me, saying the right stuff, acting, making me believe that he can’t live without me and won’t let me go. Bottom line is, I’m learning to build myself back together, understanding my worth and understanding his debilitation, and taking away his power over me by letting go of my emotions and putting my mind together... again. His glory days are close to an end.

For all of those who cannot go no contact this is what you do per RC's recommendations. No emotional contact. Insulate your mind. Control the conversation. Keep it strictly business. Approach them from a spiritual place. This engages the ruach, holy spirit, to act on your behalf. Denounce the need for closure. You don't need an apology. "The need for closure keeps the wound open."Forgiveness is the closure you need. Begin the process of rebuilding your soul. Keep reading from the KJV!!!!! Thank you for your series on narcissism.

Someone gave me advice to make a list of the pain I've experienced from rhus relationship. Not to brood over who they are and what they've done, but to remind me why I've left. Because over time you forget the pain and are temped to go back. I'm a missionary in Cambodia and I'm glad to see Christians addressing this. It is totally missed in most relationship counseling.

My journey through The Land of Being Married to a Narcissist was a the most eye opening revelation that I had ever been through in my life. I'm a believer who really could not get anyone to understand the symptoms of what I was married to. 7 years and roughly 7 professional Clinicians later and A WHOLE LOT OF SEARCHING BOOKS AND FINALLY "YOU TUBE " did I even know what I was dealing with. Bishop Blake's, from the time I found you videos. I kept saying wow, does he know that he is really teaching on Narcissistic Behavior? One day I was your video not that long ago and yo u said the word Narcasstic Abuse. I am on the road to healing and moving awa y and on with my life legally. minus the Abuser. I hope I can be of help to someone going through The Gaslighting the Hoovering and Mental and Emotional abuse I suffered through. They say your trials are not always for you,but help someone else. Well to God be all the Glory then.

@@tdoesthis7220 I am so sorry that you are going through this, and even more with beautiful little one's.As women when we get sick and tired of being sick tired we make a drastic changes in our lives. Bishop Blake also has other videos on subject of dealing with men who have certain characteristics who prey on women with good intentions and low self esteem . As I stated in my previous enrty not to give "You Tube" any type of plug, however God lead me to various videos. I kept searching on whatever God put into my heart. Emotional Abuse, Mental Abuse, Gaslighting, Also I wanted to search out why I wanted to leave but kept feeling guilty. I thought if I prayed hard enough and kept working hard at being a quote un quote "Good Christian Wife" God would change his heart. I thought I had to stay to honor my vows. Silly me, I finally remembered that once he slept with another he broke the marriage vows, however it was not just once but continually throughout the 7 years of marriage. EVERYONE SITUATION IS DIFFERENT, this was mine. I'm telling you all of this to say. If you are at the point of being done, beat you Tube up, meaning others like you and I have been through this before and they have made a video on it. However word of advice. Try to stick with the Professional Clinicians videos. Now yes you will cone across ones by women and men who are now free and telling their story, I will say this. It will finally make see that, HEY I knew I wasn't crazy. We all have a story to tell that will eventually be the catalyst to help set someone free. I found Bishop Blake just about the second year of my search. finally facing the mess and saying it's time to make an intelligent decision to save myself and start the slow process of leaving. Honestly I'm in the midst of it as I'm typing. You will in time feel better and stronger. Yes also info on leaving with children even if they are small babies. I will send you some names if you like. I hope I did not bombarded you with too much info. This journey I knew was never just for me. I had no one That understood. His charm fooled everyone even me. God came to help set the captives free. I'm new at telling my story openly. I just want to help. You are not alone and even more you aren't crazy and God can and will heal all your pain. Keep watching Bishop Blake listen to him. He speaks the absloute truth from heaven on high. His teaching on walking in and being a Queen and the Do' s and Don't's somewhat started my journey to Freedom.

Thank you for the honest talk! I am in the beginning stages of my exit, and this was divine intervention if ever there was. I have already made the decision to leave, but must work on having a place to land (and funds to pay for it) when I do. Fortunately I don't have young children - our son is 19 and old enough to care for himself. My biggest problem at the moment is that almost all of our / my funds are tied up in marital assets. What I need now is legal counsel, but that also costs money. I'm just biding my time, saving my paychecks in a new, private account and searching for a new vehicle / home. This is by far the biggest challenge I have ever had to undertake. Advice welcome, prayers needed.

Excellent overview, however for me once I decided to leave my marriage I didn't look for closure from him nor want him back. There were so many emotions and I learned it's levels to divorce also. I knew I had to heal and it was MY responsibility to do that. We do have a young son so yes I have to deal with him, however upon my research you hit the nail on the head I cut ties with him for anything other than our son. I almost NEVER call him he calls me since our son lives with me. I think he got the point, I also laughed when you mentioned "can we be friends" lol because that's exactly what he asked me, I said nope, we can raise our son! He did and said SO many hateful things to me during the separation, I want nothing to do with him. I don't even know who he is? To anyone in a narcissist relationship the BEST advice I can offer is to do research on the personality disorder, the information will arm you with knowledge and the strength to decide what you need to do in your life. Once I learned he would NOT change, I knew I had to go or I would end up so broken I wouldn't recognize who I was someday because I was already miserable. Finally, once you have one you'll be able to detect the Narc signs from anyone else you meet. Again, learn all you can about this disorder and join social media support groups especially if your in the beginning phase of learning about narcissism. Find your PEACE life is too short to settle for less and be unloved and miserable.

You’ve nailed it, Pastor. Yours is the best video about dealing with and recovering from narcissistic abuse. I’ve watched a lot of videos by mental health professionals about narcissists and you’re the first person to address so many of the things you mentioned, such as not using social media. That’s huge. The Bible examples - David and Saul, Jezebel, - the verses, your analogies like the rear view mirror being smaller, were excellent and so relatable. There’s nothing we face or might face that there’s not guidance for in the Bible. It was very giving of you to investigate this soul-damaging experience and form an extremely helpful and informative video.
