I have a few questions 1) What is the voltage of the 3mm LEDs? 2) Where did you find LED strips that have exposed wires 3) What solder do you use? Thanks!

1) the voltage drop of most LEDs is around 3volts each but the total strip uses 12volts so you plug them directly into the 12volt rail from the power supply 2) you can't find them on either eBay or Amazon or most electronics websites simply type on 12volt DC led strip 3) any leaded solder will do the job

I think you can replace the clock cap in a 1.6 to an LED
@Abauto848 ай бұрын
yes you could but not much point as you wouldn't be able to see it

If I were to change out the 3mm LED’s around the eject button, when the Xbox has an error and would give off the green/red or green/orange LED color, that will no longer happen?
@Abauto84 Жыл бұрын
it will still flash in red colour to let you know there is an error

What temperature do you have your iron set to?
@Abauto84 Жыл бұрын
i just use a 40watt soldering iron it has a set temp on it but if you have an iron with a temp you can set then Turn on the soldering iron and set temperature above the melting point of your solder. 600°- 650°F (316°- 343°C) is a good place to start for lead-based solder and 650°- 700°F (343°- 371°C) for lead-free solder
