I have literally spent days on this problem. I've went through it before with tech support and they couldn't fix it. The answer was to use another email for the account and that worked. Well, we upgraded our internet to fiber and I had the same issue trying to connect to the new WiFi. Tried everything I've found on the Internet, to include disconnecting the battery back up; no luck. Found this video and got excited and tried it; no dice. While my iPhone was connected to the MyQ WiFi, I clicked 'i' next to the wifi name and on the next page, I unchecked Private Wi-Fi Address and Limit IP Address Tracking and I connected straight to the setup page described in the video. WOW! what a very aggravating experience. I can't believe their tech support hasn't figured this problem out. Thanks for posting the information about the website!!!

If you have myQ app on your phone, you can also delete the camera from there, reset the camera by pushing a very small button on the side of the camera, close the camera for 5 second and open and then add the camera to your device management and start from there.

This is good and almost complete. It does not solve all the known issues. I have a MyQ Security+ that would not connect to my new router/network. It appears that the Wifi in the MyQ is not compatible with WPA2Personal/WPA, which is the lowest that new routers support. I had to bridge my old router, create a new Wifi network and use the old setting (WPA2Personal) to get it to connect. Something has changed and the MyQ is not compatible with newer routers. You have to add an older router and connect through it. My opener was built and sold in 2020, s its not that old. Just likely a bad Wifi card or firmware installed in these. Thank god I did not have to buy a new opener just to get MyQ back on my devices to work again.

For anyone out there with a newer router, you can just turn off the security temporarily on your 2.4 wifi, that's what I had to do. Just turn it back on once it's connected!

Thanks for the video. The Setup link got me along. At the end, it have me the serial number and advised me to keep it to use to connect the phone app. So we have a combined 2.4ghz and 5ghz Eero mesh wifi system. It has the capability to temporarily suspend the 5ghz band just for times like this. I suspended that. Using the "learn" button still wouldn't work and I had to get my ladder and do a manual reset of the opener. Once I got to the point it wanted me to take a picture of the serial number bar code, I instead manually entered the serial number the Setup link gave me and it instantly linked my app (after I entered my network's wifi password). Again, thanks. I included the other information in case it helps someone else.

This worked great! One problem that I ran into with my iPhone was that the website would not load because of the new IP Relay feature so I had to turn it off. Also, Xfinity bundles my 2.4 with 5.0 so I thought I might have issues with that but once on the site it actually showed two separate wifi (although both with the same name), so I just chose the one with the most signal since 2.4 reaches further. Anyways, thanks again for the video!

Wifi signal strength is critical, my LiftMaster would not stay connected until I switched to a router that is just above it in my bonus room. I had tried it connected to a wifi extender that was just on the other side of the house door with a strong signal but it still lost connection often. Getting MyQ connected to Alexa is a nightmare still ongoing for me. Good thing this is a hobby because it would make for a meager living. How hard could it be for Liftmaster/Chamberlain to extend MyQ to Alexa? The connections to do this would put Rube Goldberg to shame!!! This company is not taking Home Automation seriously, they still think they can be the center of the home automation universe.
