Why is everyone bashing on this video and saying things like "Who would want lighter skin every skin color is beautiful" "Dark skin is better" etc. I know alot of people want darker skin and that's fine but then someone wants lighter skin and everyone is literally saying light skin is ugly. Idk people are weird.

Its hard to have dark skin in asia because light skin became a beauty standard in asia(most people prefer light skin). I've tried lighten my skin for 6 years, but it doesn't change. If there has beautiful girl with dark skin tone, her face must be extremely pretty 😅

Just that sentence is hypocritical "who would want lighter skin every color is beoutiful" light skin makes you look like youee glowing and on some it looks amazing and dark tan skin where you look like you bmade out of chocolate is gorgeous

There are very different connotations between lightening darker skins and lightening fairer skins. It's not "racism" but there are racist connotations re darker races trying to lighten their skins to be, or thinking they can be, "accepted" in society because of their race - we can thank past history's brainwashing that fairer is the more "accepted" race. Fairer skins lighten for "beauty". Fairer skins also darken/tan for "beauty" too because they think dark/bronzed skin makes them look "healthier" (although the sun's rays are damaging the skin). So it's a very different concept when a darker person cannot see their beautiful skin tone and wish to lighten - which actually, in my opinion, makes them look odd, ashy and ugly. I am a woman of colour. I am what some may call "fair" (ie Rhianna) and I'd love to be darker like Alex Wek - and that's for beauty!

why so many hates in the comments??? people need to REALIZE that american culture and Asian culture ARE NOT the same well yeah, might be fun to have a tanned skin, but pleaseeeeeeee ....... she's talking about Korea, it's rare to find a tanned person there if you want tan, go to a country that has tans even Asia has some countries that most of them are tanned like Indonesia. you might not know, but most ppl are perfectly tanned here, and we're being judged for "being to dark" what else are we suppose to do? cope in the corner of the room, cuz when ur outside ppl tells u ur skin is to dark and cuz when u tried to lighten ur skin so they won't tease you, there's whole team of "hate towards Asian" and you can't do a shit to your skin??? I'm not trying to be racist, sure I understand, people are starting to realize that racism towards black people is NOT okay, and I also agree to that but WHAT ABOUT ASIANS??? why do most people like to think Asians are bad anyway??? EVERYONE IS THE SAME, WE LIVE IN THIS WORLD now excuse me while I try to find out why I got so butthurt over this ..

Very few people have the same colour skin on the face as on their body - thats why you shouldn't try foundation on your hands. So stop saying she doesn't look good because of her hands being more yellow toned, just because you have some stupid agenda and secret hate towards wanting light skin (or dark). She looks great, yellow hands and all.

Me, too. It does not bother me that my hands are darker than my face. I would actually hate for my face to be as dark as my hands. My hands stay tanned year round. I do not like putting sunscreen on my face because my face is oily and I have noticed that sunscreen actually makes it darker. So, I try to protect myself from direct sunlight in other ways. When I am driving, I cover up with a scarf and hat. When I have to run around during the hottest time of the day since my hat is too silly to wear in public, I will use a magazine or something to that effect to shield my face and neck from the sun. In my opinion, only blue-eyed, blonde people look good tanned.

@JeffinCherian8 жыл бұрын
+NANCAY WANG What did you do to get clear skin?
@Nanancay8 жыл бұрын
Jeffy Cherian Girl my skin isn't even clear, but ONE THING you should live by is NEVER to touch your face unless you're applying cream or moisturiser or anything that can help your skin. Whenever I touch my skin, I break out. I actually don't have a lot of rules to live by, but not touching your skin works SO WELL - my skin clears up instantly when I don't touch it. Also you won't be aware that you're touching it a lot of the time, like when you're resting your face on your hand, when you scratch your face etc. or even when you're nervous and you're brushing hair out of your face. If you have to scratch your face, use a tissue - but I just really don't touch my face anymore. Also do NOT pop pimples (included in the never touch your face rule) LOL GOOD LUCK ❤
