I have been receiving enquiries on how I lined my baking pans perfectly, so I decided to do a video to share with you. There are only 2 methods here - one method applies to loaf, square and rectangular pans while the other method applies to round pans. This is an easy and fail proof method.
I use nonstick parchment paper, so I don't need to grease the pan unless I am baking something delicate. Once you get the hang of it, you can even shape the parchment paper without drawing lines but make sure you have steady hands haha... The parchment paper is always higher than the height of pan as it is convenient for lifting the bread or cake out of the pan.

Thanks for the tips! Perhaps you can do just 1 corner, and use the cut-out parchment paper as shape/mould to cut out the remaining 3 corners, save some drawings. XD

You can just estimate the line as it won't go wrong

most pans are wider at the top than the bottom. I find this leaves a gap for the bread to stick to the pan. perhaps, don't do a 45 degree angle then cutting the short ends so that it overlaps?

This would not work with the crappy Reynold's parchment paper that comes in rolls. No matter what I do, it stays curled up. Avoid this brand!

I use one single sheet of parchment torn off long enough to fit pan then make one accordian fold down the middle. You don't need to cover the short ends, just use a knife to loosen then lift it out with the paper. Also, I cover only the bottom of the round pan, using spray on pan and paper.

Kathy Swigart there are times you may need to line the sides of a round pan.
