I would like to show you how you can achieve a cottagecore lifestyle if you don't live on a farm.
I'm a digital nomad living a cottagecore lifestyle, however, being constantly on the move makes it difficult to plant and harvest. So which cottagecore habits and activities can we adopt into our lives if we don't own a farm or maybe even live in the city? Today I'll be showing you many of my cottagecore habits that anyone can implement even if you don't live on a farm.
❤️

There is nothing better of supporting local farmers and products! I wish more people can do that! Nature give us so many great things so we must appreciate and protect that for sure! I am a big fan of tea also and my favorite flavor by far is peppermint so I think I like you a little more after that! 🙃😛 Thank you for showing us a little glimpse of how you spend your every day life! Keep up the good work! 😉

I believe my daughters and I have long lived this cottagecore lifestyle long before it became universally known and loved. It is perfectly OK to make home in whatever place that feels cozy. When I finish work and enter my cottage, I enter a place of calm; the smell of freshly baked bread or (ginger) Parkin, a very British cake that is so delicious! I'm greeted by my loving daughters! 😊 Thank you for enlightening many of us. Even I have many more wonderful things to learn from you, Liz - you are a very good teacher. Sometime you should write a book on cottagecore, and include some 4K photos with your eloquent, effortless narration. Happy New Year! ~Wendi 🌻🌻🌻

I love rurally in Australia. I have land but run a sanctuary, rescuing farmed and native animals. My daughter and I can grow our own food but last year was not very kind so no garden. However, we have amazing farmers who have sheds set up, that are refrigerated and we can go in pick what we want and leave the money in the cash box. The food lasts for so long. We do get deliveries from a supermarket as doing what we do it's impossible not to shop at one. We support small businesses on Etsy for items we can't find in Op Shops and we also run our own Etsy and Depop store. I actually refuse to purchase new items if I can because I hate that there's so much wastage in the world. Thank you for another lovely episode 😊 xx

Hello Liz, I'm sending you greetings from CZ :) I'm so happy, that YT recommended me your channel. I binge watched your videos and I was so intrigued by your narrations. The calmness, visual beauty and unviolent describing of your way of living really got me! I am really looking forward for new weekly video! I´m now watching similar channels for several years, and if I may you give an advice: don't show your car that much neither the license plate. Also sometimes I noticed uneveness of the volume of music and talking in your videos. But still, the quality of your videos is high from the beginning. Thank you for sharing your way of live with us. See you next time! Anet

Thank you so much for your lovely comment ❤️ I thought about the car issue but figured it wouldn't be a problem - I do not own the car and actually change car quite frequently. So it should be fine. 😊 Thanks for the info with the volume - I noticed my computer adjusts the volume automatically while I'm editing which makes it really hard. Currently trying to get to the bottom of this 😊

Hi Liz, as you already know that I'm a seamstress I like too share with you that I like too buy my fabric at a outdoor marketplace but besides new fabrics I make new clothing from used stuff for example I make aprons out of used bedlinen. And from a man's jacket a nice little vest and reuse the button's from the sleeves on the front. These are just a few of the things I love to do. We have a nice part of the year our vegetables from the garden. And instead of paintings I have hand embroidery on the walls. Some my mom made a very long time ago but I still love them. All that I have for china is from trift shop's. I live in a town but with my bike I am surrounded by fields within 5 minutes. So cottagecore can be enjoyed every where. Greetings 💟🌷🇾🇪

Farms do cost an awful lot of money too which is a bit of barrier. I have a couple of friends who bought a farm after living in London. They adopted a sort of cottagecore life about 20 years ago but found running a farm very hard and not easy to earn money. However, she does still go and work in London very often leaving her husband on the farm. It really would not be possible without her earnings in the city and he now is too old to run it on his own. I did it in reverse as I grew up on a farm and left to work in a city. Now I live on the edge of a town in a very old house near the countryside but not in it. I garden and cook all my own food from scratch. I am semi retired and can afford that but do work in front of a screen a lot. I would like to walk more. We have a riverside near us and a very large open flood plain that is open to the public and lots of fruit and herbs that really nobody picks. I know what they are from my childhood but so many people have forgotten or just buy stuff in supermarkets. We even have hops growing in our hedgerows that could be used to make beer with. The one downside is that cottagecore seems quite a lonely life. I know I felt lonely as a child living in the countryside.

Gardening and cooking everything from scratch sounds fantastic 😊As well as foraging for wild fruit and herbs 😊 It's interesting to hear you perceived life in the countryside as lonely. I feel a much greater sense of community in smaller towns and villages than in the city, even though there are more people.

@@livelikeliz This will shock you. I am planning to move back to London from my old house on the edge of my small town. In fact, I lived my life in three phases so far and am entering the last phase. First twenty years I lived in the country, next twenty I lived in Oxford and London, the last twenty years I lived in a medieval town working at home sharing the bringing up of our children (Covid made no difference), now I want to be in London working with people again before I die. My wife is with me and our children have just left home.

@@brianthesnail3815 It doesn't shock me at all 😊 London is a beautiful city, even if it is a bit too crowded for me personally. But it sounds like you have a clear vision for the next couple of years, which is great. I wish you all the best for your move! ❤

Hallo dear Liz? Do you live alone? I am asking because I watch just you but you have said "we" a couple times. Just curious, of course you do not have to answer if the question hurts your privacy Thank for another great video.
