For flail and sword you can use micheal shield it will cleanse everything by simply blocking...

Aconite dot is not good it’s just to help with its dmg. It can’t ruin distained either. The burnator can run distained.

Tested Burninator last night and it ate through 15k HP in 3 seconds. No idea what my resists were because they were all outta whack on the char sheet.

Game just needs cleansing potions outside of OPR. With hp and Regen pots sharing a CD and food useless in combat, we have an empty slot on the bar and nothing useful to fill it

Shirking heals is pretty mid now due to the healing nerf. It can help but it’s not nearly as good as lifesteal due to the nerf. Shirking dot cleanse only works vs 1 dot so it’s not super effective.

I like the healing changes a bit. Its easier to kill bad ranged players since they cant pop 20 heals on the run but fire staff and bb are hurting bad and i hate sitting in a corner waiting for 20 dots to fall off

Am I crazy for still feeling like fire is the biggest threat out there? Between FS and BB I feel like going fire amulet always pays off more than trying to do the physical trait on amulet. I get wrecked by far more fire than thrust it seems like.

FS is just way overtuned and has been ever since they first buffed it. Especially now with dots being so oppressive and us having no more Regen or hard food to heal back up

It's odd to me that we'll make a big deal out of having to solve an issue pertaining to DoT damage, yet we want more creative and stronger artifacts. Like, the simple reason we don't get creative and fun loot is due to pvp and the mitigation necessary to keep it balanced. You can have a game with 30 strong items to use, but the vast majority of players will still use the strongest out of the 30 either way. Change causes distress in these games. You get used to a way of gameplay and build load outs for certain ways of play and when it's changed, it's upsetting. Rightfully so too. But I truly don't think the vast majority of players realize what they want is exactly what they complain about. Like, this game isn't borderlands. Artifacts in general can't really go further than adding DoTs, extra damage or a magic build allowing for a ranged weapon to be thrown in, or a melee weapon to be thrown in, much like the abyss or inferno. I think these test servers are a pts for a lot of unique weapons that would essentially cause chaos in the main server. Like imagine the yeet hammer in the hands of 20 people in OPR. So it's just funny that people complain about essentially unique weapons being not so unique, while not even mentioning that if they were too unique, it would piss people off even more because they'd have to change their entire way of play. More so than a potion change or an extra dot.

While devs will just boost ranged and magic builds with infinity dot stacking and introducing broken weapons there is nothing to talk about. Mele is completely useless now. Its imposible tonoutheal or tank dots. I have 18k hp and 40 fire res and i am just melted by fire staff in 3 seconds. How do you lifesteal if you have no time to hit anything to use it.

Started packing an earring now with Healthy Toast and Refreshing Toast so mana can be used every 13s for some health regen. The Aconite bow is powerful. You don't a need gem slot for that thing. Pair it with a Rapier with Omni-directional and leeching flurry on the armor. Also using the Woodgrain ring with the pairing is nicccce. It was meant for the Hive. Poison arrow, rapid shot, roll in with rapier Omni attack then lt. attacks with Flurry in there and do crazy damage for 16s with all the poison extension going on. Charged hvy's are just crazy with it's DOT never ending...no cd on it, plus 15% damage while poisoned. Just keep doing charged hvy's. Aconite bow with the Hoplite Rapier with Omni on it is FIRE. I am usually Melee in OPR...gonna give this combo a try in it.

@@DooM_TC Just being 725 with Distained Infliction and Keen Jagged then with Omni-directional makes it a DPS beast. PLUS...ya Aconite Poison Affinty 15% damage applies to both weapons. The Hoplite with Omni doing 20%, just keeping spamming lt attacks with it makes it's CD next to nothing, then tack on the 15% from the bow. I am getting 15-16 secs of poison ticks with the bow. That time transfers to the Rapier with Affinity. Doesn't have to be Hoplite...that is just maxed. A Rapier with Omni on it though.

no one uses aconite. Its trash, most people use thrust protection. Im hitting aconite with 800-1k damage, meanwhile my bowcaster does 3k each hit.

If you spam heavies bolt is far away better. Nobody wards against lightning. But things like featherweight with frigid is extremely noticeable and makes bolt hit bad. It’s easier to spec into thrust and thrust bow is basically dead. Enchanted and ref move not great perks to have for aconite. Runeglass also triggers aconite if you have poison dot. The main thing bolt and aconite do is they make your offhand stronger.

Bro just use shirking dot cleanse and have good stam gen to spam dodge and this isn't a problem. It's 1 perk to completely counters dot meta. It does way, way more in constant dot cleansing than people think. You don't need to change your entire build over something so easy to counter. Literally hard counters all dots instantly as long as you stay aggressive and lean into fights. Obviously it's a problem if your not dodging attacks, but then you wouldn't be in combat at that point, and you just heal it out.

I know it seems minimal, but in conjunction with everything else you already have built into your toolkit from dodge, I strongly disagree with this. On paper it doesn't sound good. But in actual application, it fucks. I consider it S , and have for years. It's been the exact thing that has fundamentally shifted my survivability, and without it, it is extremely dramatically a noticeable difference. To the point where it's like, is this bugged? How am I not getting dots. Literally, in this "dot meta," I'm bing chilling. So my personal experience and the fact that I'm absolutely 1vX slaying more than ever this patch actually make me inclined to strongly disagree. But to each their own, I guess.
