What camouflages them in the wild, kills them in the kitchen. If they don't flee when the branch is vigorously shaken, then sadly that's nature. They'd have probably died if washed off down the sink. At least their sacrifice wasn't for nothing.

@@cscasablanca1yes good idea. I use a white vinegar/Water solution and soak all berries, foraged foods or homegrown foods in it for 10 minutes to cleanse everything, then rinse in clean water and pat dry. Does the job well, and helps preserve the foods longer in the fridge too.

Love watching your vids. In another universe, we'd be mates, for sure 😊. I LOVE all things foody! If you can come by a batch of fresh tomatoes 🍅, I put tons of them in a baking tray, bit of oil and whole peeled garlic cloves and roast low-and-slow (I've also been known to add in onion wedges and peppers). Then blitz it all to a pulp, add any herbs/seasonings of your choice. Then use til your heart's content.....spag bol (vege, meat), stirred through pasta with cheese of choice on top, lasagne, a base for curries, meatballs.....I freeze it in portions. Lush 😋. Will be tuning in for tomorrow's budget delights 😊
