Hello. We use OBS and stream directly to KZbin. I want fro try Castr.io to also stream to Facebook. Can we still use the scenes from OBS to show our lower third or our images and pre recorded videos by transitioning? We are using our in-house camera through a E4 board or something like that. Yes it would. Anything being sent from OBS will go to your platform including Castr

How do you connect from Zoom to Castr? Our ministry is trying to livestream from Zoom to KZbin and FB Live and don't understand how to connect Zoom and Castr so I can do that

Under Settings on Zoom's website go to In Meeting (Advanced) and under Allow live streaming meetings, you can set Zoom to natively go to platforms like Facebook/youtube but no way to connect to castr

Yes you can stream from Zoom to Castr. Zoom has a custom stream setting, where you enter the RTMP url and stream key from Castr. You turn on the option the same place AJaytheCEO mentioned above (In Meeting (Advanced)). Then after you schedule your meeting, the options to set the streaming data will be made available for you to enter,

How does it handle resolutions? If I stream to KZbin and facebook and my OBS settings are 1080p 6000kbps, is that what's going to show up on both the platforms I have linked?

Whatever you send in goes out the same way. Facebook however scales most down to 720p

The count is for the individual platform, not combined to my knowledge.

Hi, thanks for the video. I was able to succesffully test castr restreaming on FB one one of my pages. But another page of mine is not showing in castr's list. Why is that so? Castr's support could not help me in this case saying there must be a setting in your page which is doing this. Can you please help? If I restream with stream key of the page, it works. But I prefer seeing the page name in the list instead of needing to give the stream key everytime. Thank you

Make sure you allow castr access to AOL pages and accounts you are admin on and it should show

Hi Ajay, I'm using a atem mini pro to send my source to castr. When I go live from the atem I can see the video go live on the castr dashboard and then my two platforms displays connected to facebook and youtube from the castr dashboard, but it never go live on either social media sites. Any suggestions?

Do you have both platforms set to auto start once a signal is detected? If not you will have to go to both and manually start them

Thank you for your video! I signed up for Castr and am using it to multi-stream for our church services. When I pre-schedule my FB and KZbin live services I still have to individually go in and press "go live" in FB and KZbin as well as in OBS. Is there any way around this?

It depends on how the accounts are linked. I do the same in Vimeo and I don't have to hit go live

Thanks for the video. So you dont recommend this anymore? I tried it but had an issue with KZbin not getting a feed. But thinking I will retry it again. We have been taking the embed code from facebook and loading that onto our website for video to play there but facebook has been dropping that out. Lately where as youtube works great.

Castr is fine but I personally use Restream as for my needs it does not cost me anything. Both services have had issues due to so many new people streaming.
