I like the way you describe everything about the setup into deep detail especially with someone like me thats interested in video game streaming, how ever how do you record the game play if your playing on TV with xbox or ps4

You will need 2 capture cards, one for the gameplay on your console and one for your camera. If you mean the resolution i think I had it 1080p 60fps. About the setting you need to do so it works for live I mentioned it in the video.

If you have the elgato hd60 s+ Would you go from out the mixer into the cameras input Microphone in and send the sound to the computer thru the hdmi connection? Or it is best to go out of the mixer into the Microphone input of the elgato hd60s+ and capture the sound via the elgato card at the end side?

I used from my phone. Its a Samsung. But any charger will do. After testing that for long time my camera still had some issues with charging. I don't know if it's just me or all the GoPro 6..

No it wasn't overheating, but I remember having some issues with charging it while streaming. It wasn't working all the time. Which GoPro you have?

I thought they would improve them....Here i had the GoPro 6 if I remember good...maybe I said it on the video 😉 Anyway, after some time playing with cameras, i start to believe that webcams are the most solid and cheap solution for streaming 👌😃 Maybe the quality is not great but with correct lighting you can make it look nice. No on the new ones they totally remove the hdmi micro port on the camera. I think you will need a gadget that called media mod to do it this way. It cost around 80$. I know you can use it like a web camera with the USB C cable it comes with so maybe it could work on OBS as well. I might make this video as i own a GoPro 10 now...but never test it 😅👎

gopro is made to be outside, inside the color is so terribly bad. use brio 4k for webcam is the best choice.

Hey you fooled me, and maybe yourself too. It's NOT HDMI mini, it's HDMI micro!! I just want everyone to know that. I figured it out when i ordered a cable, when i got it it was too big, so once again, you need HDMI micro!!

oh yes my apologies for that..i used HDMI micro but i said mini on the video. Bad mistake. Sorry to confuse you. I hope you can return it or you can keep it to use it with bigger camera in the future. It can connect to dslr or mirrorless cameras. They usually have the mini HDMI port. And again really sorry for that 🙏 and thanks for writing it here in the comments🙂
