120, not 120mm. No correlation to 35mm whatsoever.
@lightrust46804 жыл бұрын
Well 135 was also developed by Kodak
@bjufrd38574 жыл бұрын
@@lightrust4680 The point is that there is no mm in 120. There's no correlation between the 120 and the measurement of the film. It's a 60mm film, not 120mm.

Who cares, we all know what he’s talking about
@Thomas-es5nn4 ай бұрын
@@hogrider6894 I know, right? Who cares being accurate in an instructional video?Who cares about using the correct terminology to communicate? Right? I routinely call it 12-inch film. Heck, sometimes, I don't even call it a film. I'd go to a camera store and tell them I want to buy some 12-inch slim. and, you know what, they know what I am talking about. So, sure, you can call it 12-in slim, and, like you said, who cares.

After the loading do you need to take one or two shots blind to make sure the film is winded up correctly to the first frame?
@gabrielgomez24833 жыл бұрын
No, you will wind until it it stops then you are all set. That's why you like up the start line on the cartridge so the camera will stop winding at exactly the right point to properly expose the roll
@LinBenzo6 жыл бұрын
Hi do i roll it until it says 1? Because i put the foll in and shot twice but still says s
@Filtergrade6 жыл бұрын
No, you wind the film on the reel until you meet your camera's line indicator with the film strip indicator. Once you line the two up, then re-attach the camera back and wind until you see number #1. If you are seeing the letter 'S' then that means you need to forward the film (crank it forward, until it says 1). Hope this helps
@goutham3156 жыл бұрын
Hii sir I am completely unknown about medium format films .. sir hw many shots we can take with that one roll and what about the lighting do we need much more light than a 35mm film
@Filtergrade6 жыл бұрын
Hi Goutham, thanks for reaching out. You typically can take 12-19 shots with this film depending on the type and the lighting can vary.

Typically you have to buy a prism finder separately, but it is not a necessity to use the camera.

i use a afga isola 1, when i opened the pakage of the film roll the film roll sprung out and it was all rolled out ( the film was exposed to light for a time ) is this a problem and is it worth to keep shooting with the camera? or will i get a blank film back when i develope it?
@cinematografie223 жыл бұрын
i used a 120 mm film btw, from the brand foma.
@Filtergrade3 жыл бұрын
How long was it exposed for? We've had that happen a few times with just some light leaks, but if it was for more than like 10-20 seconds it will most likely all be blank unfortunately.

How do you set the film size like 6x4.5 etc?
@chloepierson25014 жыл бұрын
Different cameras shoot different dimensions on 120 film. This camera only shoots 645. Some cameras have different masks like a holga but most shoot one size.
