@Michael Williams try throwing some bait out under a slip bobber. If you keep getting hung up that way, just move your bobber stop shallower til you won't get hung up anymore.

Thank you for your catfishing tips. I am a bank fisherman born and raised. My first pole was the latter half of an old cane pole, I was too small to use the whole thing. Your flapper idea is pure genius and I can not wait to try it. I am currently living in the high altitudes of Colorado, but have a trip scheduled here shortly to return home to Georgia, and then on to my birthplace and where my love for fishing started, Tennessee. Hey RG you would be proud of me; I went fishing thee other day with my son Jacob, and the brand new reel he just bought, well we put it on a nice rod. Well anyway, we were trolling for walleyes and I wasn’t paying attention, casually holding my fishing rod looking off in the distance and a fish hit it so hard it jerked right out of my hands. I could see the rod being taken away so I had to do it, I dove right in after that sucker and I caught it and it was a 2 pound drum. So I finally matched your commitment to fishin that afternoon. It’s a good thing it was a lake. But hey what a memory with Jacob and I. Thanks for sharing all your awesome videos!
