You need to believe in yourself and totally ignore people who want to dominate you. Being confident when you do things and speak slowly and confidently. You 'control' the situation. Take your time. Remember who you are and do not short change yourself. Keep good eye contact and know within yourself that you can do it. Find out what you are good at and become your own 'champion'. You have something to share with others and keep true to yourself. Have 'true' confidence based on 'true' ability. 'False' confidence in the end will be 'found out'. Your confidence should be based on your ability and your achievements or your capabilities to achieve in the future. The world is full of 'confident salespersons' whose 'confidence' is based on their 'gift of the gab'. They can 'talk the talk' but not 'walk the walk'.

My best friend, whom I loved so deeply, with all my heart and with all my soul... He recently betrayed and abandoned me... Completely just left me. Replaced me with another. 55 days: with not a word from him. I am astonished. I am traumatized. I am bereaved. I am breathless. The grief is truly beyond: unimaginable and unbearable. However, I have learned this: 1. The woman who has the power to walk away, gives her soul, the space to heal! 2. She allows the man to have clarity regarding her value... 3. She is able to ponder the error/s of her ways... 4. She learns her own strength and power and femininity and divinity and magic! 5. She re-calibrates her soul, and moves back to the Creator's default... 6. She gives God the necessary space to bless her!

My 9 year old son is very tall and quite skinny, and I found this video while looking for evidence to try to prove to him that 'attractiveness' to other people is about 95% confidence. I think this video will prove to be a useful tool in this. He said to me that looking into someones eyes was like staring into the centre of the sun for him. Something I think he's got from me, as Im terrible at eye contact but content like this is helpful.

I became very much in a state of fear with severe palpitations all the time. I had existentialist fear, despair and in the end I became very addicted to alcohol . I am now 50 and I have been in trouble many times,in fact my life has been a swooping disaster ground. I have become a Hare Krishna 80% full blown as I still drink from time to time. Real confidence is being what you are whether you feel confident or not. Only the ignorant bother about becoming something they are not. If you lost the opportunity with a girl because you didn't look confident feel good about yourself. It shows that you are not another fake, twisting and bending to appeal to someone else's deluded image of you and ultimately of themselves.

yep definitely a solid vid here. I'd only say the eye contact thing doesn't need to be lasered in. I've heard a 70/30 ratio of contact and looking away is acceptable and often even preferred so as to not be obviously trying too hard to win the tug o war dominance game. If you look at any interview with a celebrity you'll notice it's about 70/30 with most people. Excellently presented. You have a gift for speaking for sure.
@HLB512 Жыл бұрын
These are things I’ve worked on. Surprisingly as an autistic person I can hold eye contact. What I need to do is practice facial expressions. I’ve got a flat affect if I’m too relaxed or tired and inside I can be totally happy, but people think I’m giving dirty looks.

Awesome video and superb social skills teaching. Regarding confidence the male approach is self assurance, and training in pressure tested effective Martial Arts is the easy way to get there. When someone is self assured there is no need to over think or act it is just part of who they are. I can understand how it might detract from a female's persona but it's a really healthy and strong mindset. PS: love your content, your channel is a real breath of fresh air ❤

Filler words sometimes are a tool to not be interrupted, a signal that the thought isn't finished yet or that you want to add more. How do you deal with holding onto your pauses when even well-intentioned and respectful people tend to take that opportunity to respond? In a business context saying something to clarify that you weren't done is often adaptive but in personal contexts it's hard for it not to break rapport, no matter how gracefully it's done.
