My names Felix. It means happy and lucky. Happy- go- lucky. Ive survived homelessness and many other serious adversities. This philosophy is why I’m still alive. One time when I was sleeping between some bushes, it started to rain, and as it woke me up out of my sleep right in front of my face stuffed into the bush was an abandoned raincoat. This happens all the time. Love yourself. Be good to each other. It comes back around.

Many years ago, I realised that even in rainy season, the weather would be great during the week that I went on holiday. Then I started telling everybody that I take good weather with me when I go on holiday. To this day, everyone laughs. To this day, I laugh too, because it ALWAYS happens this way for me and I get great deals on 5 star hotels, because people don't like to go to resorts during rainy season. I go, because I KNOW the weather will be spectacular for that week. I have yet to be wrong.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This JUST happened to me TONIGHT... my avoidant BF of 14 years (8 yrs the first go-round; a 4 yr breakup, then 6 yrs this time)- ended us. My attachment style is anxious w/ avoidant tendencies, so I'm VERY prone to contacting, chasing, and just overall going deeper with the devastation than he seems to do. He talks the talk, but every pic I saw during those 4 yrs, displayed a happy-looking man. I'm still in shock because I was blindsided ONCE AGAIN!!! I want HIM to "do the chasing" (figuratively), and show me he doesn't just love me, but is IN LOVE with me, sees the value in us continuing to work through our issues (mostly due to my fears & insecurities regarding abandonment, which is exactly what I feel he has done). I discovered this channel several days ago, and she has been a wonderful help, and we share SO many similar ways- from our thought processes to behaviors, and even choice of words. The only difference is, I lack her confidence and strong will. I'm sure you don't care about some stranger's experiences... I was just struck by how similar our situations are. I feel for you. I'm just completely and utterly devastated!

Tomorrow is my 51st birthday 🎉. Your talk is a nice reminder. It actually reminded me of my dad’s attitude throughout his life. He survived a traumatic brain injury in 1984 from a hang gliding accident and I became his caregiver until he passed away June 25th, 2021 at age 90. He had a wonderful attitude; always said the accident was the best thing that happened to him. (It allowed him to become his “true” authentic self.) I was very fortunate to have him around for so many years. This talk sounds like a message from him, serving as a reminder to see my situation brightly as I go forward into the future.

Hello Margarita, I just found this video in my feed-not merely a coincidence, thinking it’s my pep talk from “the universe” urgently needed to hear, as for the past few days I’ve been beating up myself and the universe.. as in unlucky girl syndrome and loosing faith in everything and in myself, and with heavy tears and feelings of real hopelessness.😢 But you come along and so elegantly, clearly, and gently shake me, lift me and encourage me to see. Amazing how I always receive answers and reassurance from life even when I lose faith and on the verge of giving up. Thank you for being here and sharing your experiences. It really is encouraging to see and hear others that are making it happen and having success. Much love❤

This is such a great mindset. I've found that I'm naturally optimistic and I like to create challenges for myself, it's fun. I've accomplished a few big goals such as self-publishing two books that I wrote and designed myself by taking a Udemy course to learn InDesign. The biggest challenge I've had is how to handle the negative reactions or non-reactions from other people that aren't as energized as I am about things. It can be discouraging. With the negative people I try to respect their viewpoint and learn from it and keep my focus. I tend to want to talk alot because I'm so excited about what I'm doing. Recently I've been trying to listen more and take it slower or even just keep my goals to myself, and it works better. Or I'll ask people what they like to do for fun or what they're into, instead of talking about myself. I think this relates to the idea of having an intention and letting things flow/the feminine and not forcing. Also there is something cool about encouraging other people who aren't passionate - to find their passion. It can be done in subtle ways, just by listening and being supportive of the person.

But I do understand what u mean. One day I was feeling sorry for myself. Then randomly I had thought. What would your grandparents say to this? I thought how my mums parents. Her dad moved to western countries to earn money. He worked as a child cx he had 4 sisters, 1 brother with learning disabilities, his mother was in deep depression due to her hubby dying he kept going. Then my mum mother moved from India to Scotland with a premature baby who doc in India said won’t survive. My dad’s father went to war , grandmother took care of 7 children as a single mother because her hubby was in war. Seen riots that killed her first born survived that. My dad moved from India to Scotland with only £7 with just dreams away from family. Someone might see tragedies. Reading this but when I thought about it. It was a reality check. Like Asees you come from that family of resilience, strength. You are strong enough to do this. You just need to remind yourself

Do you know the best thing I have ever done for my 4 yo son? I taught him to say excuse me when he wants to get anyone's attention. And it has worked out beautifully, adults just fawn over him automatically... Because it's just so stinking cute and he always gets that positive reflection back on the first go.
