I know this is a bit less but I gave up on lithium grease loooong ago. I started using the earlier version of the now wurth hhs plus lube. Expensive ? Yes but it works well enough you dont need much.

The 2015 ML has a door hinge issue, It would have been helpful if you could have recorded the before and after sound of the hinge before lube and after lubricated.

It wasn’t making noise, I did the lubrication because it was called for in the service schedule.

How do you clean the hinge prior to greasing?

I typically wipe them down with a dry cloth as best I can, unless they are really filthy. But I will go ahead and spray some degreaser on, rinse off, and dry. Then lubricate.

Incorrect amigo, I do all my own work on my wife 2019 glc 43 amg. these cars are engineered so well i prefer working on it to my various LS powered gmt 400 and 800's

@@Artoconnell and that's the best way to do it. Sadly many that do dont know all the items that need attention. Course that depends on the age of the car. So knowledge is king.

@@pinkcaddygarage267 PTFE dry lubricants are best for plastic and rubber. But lithium won't harm it, only very specific plastics can get dissolved by it.
