Lovely! It made me think of doing coffee cups and filling them with chocolate mousse and whipped cream with chocolate curls or other cut patterns, or a crème brûlée in the top of the cup instead of the "tea", making a cookie flavor to compliment whatever brûlée flavor. I don't dip well, but I could at least try a pour instead, over a cooling rack, for the dome part anyway..These cups are ideal for serving various desserts to decorate as tea or coffee. Even a ginger ice cream, or some such thing...Beautiful, beautiful work!

Absolutely incredible. I've not yet really done anything as far as baking goes, nothing as intricate as this. I've painted leaves and pieces for the annual Thanksgiving pumpkin pie that I get to bring for dinner, but I stick mainly to cooking savoury foods, meals, sides, that type of thing. It's so much more forgiving for an amateur (and self-taught, at that!) but just watching you do this, it's so relaxing and exciting all at the same time! I've only just discovered your channel, but I'm curious; have you ever done a video where you or others actually eat these amazing creations? They are so beautiful and exacting, I'd be afraid that I'd want to eat hours of detailing in a minute! Thank you for these videos. You are very good at actually teaching what you are doing, and explaining things in a way that is easily understood. Now I just need your very steady hands and a lot less fear...and maybe 80 years of practice! :-) I'd love to meet you; how about I make dinner, and you bring the dessert! :-) Haha, have a great holiday season and take care. All I can say is OMG!!! I have learned SO much from your videos and have been following you for 2 years. Joined Cookie Connection 2 months ago. You are one of the 3 major artists I follow religiously and are my inspiration to begin a goal of starting a new career and to recreate myself as a cookie artist. I lost 2 jobs due to lay offs in the past 3 years in print and digital advertising as director of sales in NY. I am diving into starting my own business as a cookie artist. I am artistically inclined and have been pushed by so man of my friends and family to do this. My first cookie order is for 100 wedding cookies due in May. Can you please tell me when making your 3D creations, at what depth do you roll your dough? I typically roll 1/4" cookies but am thinking that may be to thick for these.
