How To Make 3D Chrome Type in Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Dimension

I love Chromatic Type! Although I always felt the process was a bit slow, sometimes I want to experiment with something quick and don’t want to struggle with 3D renderers and High End 3D effects!
So yea I found a easy solution to make this quick look just using adobe Softwares

when i change the colour of my letters for example the "O" my whole letter changes colour with the little "o" inside and doesn't leave a white spot same with "R" etc

Hoo I know!! Try to select all the “O” parts and then, click shift + M, to activate the shape builder tool. Then inside of the “O” hole, press Shift again, so it goes to subtract. And it should work! But let me know!

Yes you can export the 3D File as gltf file. And if you use the after effects (beta version) you can import the model and animate it there! That’s a great idea actually!! ☀️

@@MasdLab ah fantastic, thank you so much for the help! I've been trying to export what I've done following your video, it keeps coming out pixelated. Is that due to resolution as I have it at 300 in order to print?

@@bexc348 hey!! huum that shouldn't happen, maybe if you try to increase the render quality, and the resolution of the artboard and yes maybe increase to 300ppi although, be careful with file size and prepare for a LOOONNNGGGG render eheh Let me know if it works! Cheers
