I love that you are adding your own twists to the recipe. I remember when you started this venture and were learning, you had to follow the recipe exactly! Nothing wrong with a metal spatula on a metal pan-just don't use on a coated nonstick surface. I love that the Fun Fact is back!! I am going to put some turmeric in my purse in case I meet a King Cobra!

I enjoy tofu scramble. I usually break up the tofu in a container and in a cup add nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, turmeric, cumin and smoked paprika, Add some water and mix with the seasonings, add to the tofu and coat it all. Put it in the fridge overnight and the flavors are absorbed more by the tofu, like a marinade. Next morning cook it up (add a bit of black salt) and eat it as a breakfast taco on a toasted flour tortilla with air fried potatoes and pico de gallo. :) Enjoy seeing your videos and love the fun facts!

Adding a tiny pinch of black salt (from Indian grocery store) gives a very authentic sulfur/egg flavor, if desired!

I've been meaning to try this for months, and I've finally gotten into meal prep again now it's January. So I'm following this almost to the letter, with some onion, red pepper & spinach. Going to make enough for three breakfasts have with with sausages and avocado. Lovely! Thanks again for being so inspirational and entertaining :)

Back to the Veganomicon! A new era! This recipe looks delightfully different from what I do, which is pinch of annatto powder, black pepper, and kala namak. Bonus: I now know what to apply to a venomous snake bite en route to the hospital! TFP : )

Oddly enough, I don't typically add black salt to my tofu scrambles (even though I LOVE the "eggy" flavor), but I think I will now!
