Loved your video and recipe! At 65 with a lot of years of cooking, I’ve never made a pot pie! Also, never knew there was such a thing as a pie crust shield - I’ve always used foil strips! And I never thought about using a glass pie pan so that you can check the bottom crust! I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks! Thanks!

I wish youtube was around when I was raising my boys. Beautiful kids, great helpers. Bouillon on top surprised me. That I'm going to have to try.

I stumbled upon your videos looking for a recipe to use up left over roast beef. My boyz are tired of taquitos so I needed a new recipe. Your videos brought back some good memories. My late husband would involve the boyz in the kitchen and was so patient with them like you are. One exception, they would TEAR up the kitchen and were not so good at the clean up. LOL

That is exactly how my mother did it ...she would also add any other veggies she had like green beans or English peas...... she used season salt on top of the crust but same difference as bouillon Cube

My comment is in regards to your cheesecake, it looked fantastic! Great job. I cook the same way some recipes are exact and some are not. I am a single father myself, glad to see I am not the only one.

You are welcome. I appreciate that you involve your sons, I always did. That is how kids learn and are able to be on their own and are able to move up in life.

It is still winter here in Minnesota. We just got a foot of snow last night, so it will be a late spring this year.
