Thanks Matt! I feel fulfilled because woodworkers like you get interested by my humble work. It is really inspiring and amazing being a part of it. I just hope my contribution helps somebody to start making things. By the way, you've worked with walnut for long time, and for me this is the very first time I've worked with it and quite love it. It gives a distinguished look at the whole piece. I'll use it more often. Regards and thanks again for your help!

Woodworking Barcelona It's an amazing feeling. Trust me, you're inspiring a lot of people. :) I really like working with walnut. It has really great working properties, especially with hand tools. The wood tends to be "buttery" for lack of a better way to describe it...
@WoodworkingBarcelona10 жыл бұрын
Matthew Cremona Sure! I get what you say. Yesterday, I made a "quick" ring with leftover walnut from this project and I added a small purple heart inlay on it: imgur.com/CJYFYhS

Woodworking Barcelona You're just always making awesome stuff, aren't you? :)

Matthew Cremona Thanks Matt! I appreciate your comment but you would laugh if I show my very first projects. Now I'm much comfortable with what I'm doing but as you can see, the most of my job are small objects. In the other hand, I am so newbie in terms of joinery or furniture making, aspects which you just rock. ;)

Great looking bottle opener. Never saw steel cut on a scroll saw before, learn something new everyday.

Woodworking Barcelona Do you use a special blade on the scroll saw? I knew that thin soft metals could be cut that way, but I'm really surprised at how easily you cut through that steel plate!!
@WoodworkingBarcelona10 жыл бұрын
Max Makes Hi Max! To cut the steel I used blades suitable for metal cutting. They were from my grandfather who was a craftsman jeweler. Even with those, I broke at least a pair during the job. Regards.
