I made this, cost me about $50 total and works great! I prefer this since there is no base and I can take it down easily when I need it out of the way. Thank you!

Great idea! Why didn't you combine the first version, with the last? I liked the rotating mechanism better with the PVC cross piece. Just glue the pvc pipes together and you have a solid piece.
@LeoSol134 жыл бұрын
Fantastic replacement, it looks fantastic! If for whatever reason you can't get a hold of galvanised steel pipe, could PVC pipe work too?
@Kewlus4 жыл бұрын
Possibly. Not sure

@LeoSol134 жыл бұрын
Hey, me again. It just occurred to me; depending on the height of your ceiling, there might be a way you could use a shower curtain rod/tension rod as your pole. I see one on Amazon that can extend up to 3.60 metres, but the one that you've made here is a good DIY alternative.

Might work but just not sure if it’ll be rigid enough

I'd like to give this a go. It looks brill:) Could you give me some idea of the length and thickness of the pvc pipe you used for the crossbar, please?:

Reedy, The model I've been dreaming of would be a wall mounted boxing spar bar with a double-end bag (even if it is a very small bag) on the bottom of the vertical bar. It would be like what Nikita Kasyanov uses here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r16nZHx-fryBgbs
