I subscribed because your video was clear & to the point; which allowed me to feel like I was actually learning this technique instead of processing a bunch of unnecessaryinformation. Great video- thanks a bunch!

I’m so excited I found your tutorial. Do you think I could use this technique for Birch bark if I used different shades of brown and beige?

I love this so much! I've seen similar done with fondant where you're told to leave it out a few days to make it go dry, but I'm worried that would taste bad or have to be removed. But I assume this buttercream is still absolutely fine to eat? I think I'd like some metallic accents, or sugar crystals to look like minerals 🙂
@FinespunCakes3 жыл бұрын
Awesome, thank you! Yes this buttercream is totally fine to eat. Hope to see your version of it!

Hi, thanks for this wonderful demonstration video. Can I use fresh whipped cream icing (instead of buttercream) to get a similar concrete effect on my cake? Could you please advise?

This tutorial is so great! I’m wondering if it would work as well with Swiss meringue buttercream? That’s usually what I use.
@FinespunCakes3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes Swiss is basically the same.

This looks amazing! Would I be able to create this texture with cream cheese frosting at all?
@FinespunCakes3 жыл бұрын
I think it would be difficult to use cream cheese. I'd recommend using cream cheese as the filling then my italian meringue buttercream for the outside :)
