If I had the time to make a custom pistol. I would, but since I don't, I suppose the normal prop replica will do just fine for going to Comic-Con. It's a great thing to try, though, and someday I sure will. Now... Where can a man get a decent brown trench coat in New Mexico?

You can find it almost anywhere, I saw some in wall-mart, it's usually used for floor padding for children or yoga classes, it can be found near the pillows usually. If you looked on the edges you should see little indents that are used to lock them together and there is also one side that is usually smooth and on that is rough for grip, I suggest not using the rough side.

Just a tip with your keying, if your using After Effects: Go to Curves in Colour Correction, press Green in the dropdown menu, and drag the top right point down a little bit. This will help a lot. Also add a choke to get rid of that green outline, by going to Matte Choker. Hope i helped :)

thecoolchannelful - youtube's official browncoat chirst no it isn't. that's like saying "a spring and and hing are pretty much the same thing". Don't speak from a position of ignorance.
@MrFreefonix4209 жыл бұрын
Thats like saying a rivet is the same as a screw its not the same a clip has no springs its simply a peice of metal that has been bent to fit ammo into it it also has no follower and also most clips dont stay in the gun once you insert the ammo is Inserted into the internal magazine a magazine is a box with a strong spring and a follower on top you place ammo onto the follower and the ammo is on spring tension and with magazine fed guns there arent any internal maazines its just a hole with a magazine release with a spring that holds the magazine in place if you tried to fire a clip from a magazine fed gun the rounds wouldnt load into the chamber they would just sit there.
@JuniorBlue19 жыл бұрын
Your right a a magazine is basically a case to hold the bullets and push them up whereas a clip is just holds the bullets
@HomeDistiller11 жыл бұрын
i think you need to start using MDF instead of foam in some of your props, yeah the dust is nasty but it would have been much better in this gun.

if youre using a Apple computer for editing. I'd recomed downloading final cut pro. it'll help out a lot with the green screen and your blury out line. there's a free one you can down load but it's not up to date. but other then that I'm enjoying the builds.

Why not make a mould of the replica then modify that by drilling the hole deeper, cutting it in half and carving out a space for a mechinism then mould the final product, keep the mould and sell copies.

Flaws: Only of the Serenity version, which is fine, but could also do with a Firefly version. Stunt prop casting. This is cast from the stunt prop mold which causes a few issues: Materials aren't correct. It is a solid piece; no moving or working parts. Barrel isn't completely hollow. It would be nice to have a replica Taurus Model 85 to cover in steel.
