Great work as always. How to you get the tines from sticking they are sharp?

Thank you! That particular fork didn’t have sharp tines. If I do have one with sharp tines I will grind them down a little. 😊

That’s a good looking ring… I was wondering if you only work with silver(material)? What are your thoughts on stainless? Is stainless worth less vs silver. How do you come up with a price for this stuff?

Hi, I mainly use vintage silver plated silverware. Many flatware jewelry makers also use stainless. I think stainless is a little harder to work with and I prefer making mine from vintage pieces. Stainless is worth less than silver plate just because it’s not silver plated. Many people just want something made from silverware and they don’t care if it’s stainless or silver plated. So, it’s totally up to you what you want to work with. For pricing, I started with looking at what other people are selling the same item for. Then I found a middle ground that I thought would work for selling in person at local shows and online. Hope this helps!
