one of the GREATEST and most open tutorials on this topic I have seen! You were super realistic about your capabilities, your tools and abilities and worked within them! Awesome!
@DRLongSchlong6714 ай бұрын
Big ups bro! a lot of these tutorials just how to pads, amen and bass, but you really dived in a bit deeper on the fundamentals of what separates that PlayStation style compared to just atmospheric 90s jungle.

There's also that one LABS collection called "Atmospheric Pads". Really good for Jungle.

Very well done. And respect for reproducing things in respect to originality (keeping things mono/using bit crushers, ect.)

a lack of dynamics is crucial for this genre it is lifeless without a proper compression

Are you saying a lack of dynamics is needed or saying it isn't needed ? 😅

@@BIGUMAMI That means a lot! I'm an amateur producer myself and got a LOT of value out of this, I made sure to share the video. Just finding that Kawai K1 Emulation plugin was nuts, I can't believe that's free. Keep up the great work. 👊

well, yeah. BUT! if you wanna stay close to that classic sound, I assure you that a lot of that stuff was in mono. must be because of the actual hardware limitations.
@ethanknight91287 ай бұрын
@@BIGUMAMICould you provide some examples of popular jungle tracks used in video games that are in mono? I can’t seem to find any.
@CerealKiller4 ай бұрын
@@ethanknight9128 Not the full tracks, but durng production the bass, drums and sometimes pads were, indeed, mono.
@maroxcore2 ай бұрын
@@ethanknight9128 The samples used to be in mono, not the finished tracks! You can create nice atmospheres using mono samples + reverb and delay.
