Looking at this makes me want to make one for the RC30 hmmm..... I wonder if it has same as the FS-6?

I'm not sure but I think most Boss pedals use the same type of switch. It would probably work.

Great idea not being hard wired, I have a Marshall channel & dfx footswitch but mine is hard wired and has a broken cord, so I want to turn it into a cordless setup like you did in this video, what Guitar jack would I need to buy to make cordless? Sorry I didn't catch your name? My name is Andre.

My name is Jeff. If your plug is a stereo plug, most likely you'll need a stereo jack. It will probably need both conductors to operate the different functions of the foot switch. I might be wrong depending on what switch you have but this one had a stereo plug on the end before I removed it.

@@homebuiltshop My footswitch definitely has a guitar lead style jack currently on the end of footswitch, but I love your idea, I think it's Awesome and what I want to do with mine asap.

I built an overdrive once. It worked but didn't sound great. 👍

Could you add led lights to the foot switches?
@homebuiltshop2 жыл бұрын
Yes. You may need to replace the switches with something like a DPDT so you could turn on the LEDs with a battery. I don't think it would be too hard at all.

I have a brand new crate 35 watt amplifier it came with a footswitch because it has three channels clean light Distortion heavy distortion one quarter-inch Jack only in the amplifier the footswitch pedal has two but nothing works when I plug in the two quarter inch cables my guitar cable and the other one that goes into the amp nothing happens at all and you can't take it apart because it doesn't take batteries
@homebuiltshop4 жыл бұрын
I think your footswitch may take a special sort of splitter cable. A friend of mine had something similar. I'm not completely positive, but the jack on the amp may be a stereo jack, that splits into 2 mono plugs for the footswitch. Something like that anyway.

@@homebuiltshop yes I found out my footswitch pedal is stereo that was the problem LOL so you are right

can this footswitch be use to swap patches for zoom ms50g?
@homebuiltshop5 жыл бұрын
I don't know, I don't have that pedal to test it on. If it will take an external tap tempo type of switch, I would think it will work.

this guy wrecked a perfectly fixable marshall foot switch. sad

Its only a Marshall footswitch. I just made it work for my needs.
