I rarely knit anymore but, I crochet alot and I cant tell you how happy I was to find this! Before this I would rarely crochet anything with multiple colors because of my ends would always come out! So I just stopped crocheting anything that was in more than 3 colors. Now I have learned this little trick and I am totally in love! I started a rainbow blanket! I feel more confident that my gift will not come undone in the wash. When the yarn gurus teach us things like the no ends knot or tips we have never heard of before, its giving you a gift as well, when it changes the way you do things you couldn't do before, its priceless! Thank you!

Have you sussed the technique of changing colour before the last step of the previous stitch? It gives a much neater border between the colours.

Thanks so much for the great demo! I thought I had this figured out, but the knot would come out if I pulled too tight. Taking those little fluffy ends, folding them back over only the last pass of yarn and holding them there has changed everything and now my knots don't come undone! Great job!

Same here. My sister and I sat together yesterday afternoon and practiced about 100 knots and she yelped with joy every.single.time. Even the 100th!! It's so much fun and such a super trick!

Super easy as she said, and I just did it on a real project with a mohair yarn so it will NEVER show on this cowl. COOL! I've been knitting for over 50 years and I am always happy to learn something new.

Thank you so much Chris for your very clear and informative information. It was good to know which was the new yarn. I will be joining really thick yarns together, and then knitting two balls of yarn together at the same time...so this new idea, for me, is going to be a great boon. Thank you!

Thank you. I’ve been trying to master this for quite awhile and the last part would leave me with a knot with a big loop stuck in it. So, your clear explanation of the last lil part of folding just over the last line helped me to capture it! Came out perfectly the first try! Thank you.

Watched 3 different videos on how to do this. This the best one BY FAR! Only knot that, when I REALLY tested it, didn't break. Also super easy to follow and really well explained. Only advise is to full screen the video and watch it on a laptop, PC or TV, not a mobile. Some fiddly bits that can be a bit hard to see otherwise.

I couldn't quite see the last wrap. The one before you tuck the ends under. I'm watching on my phone so if it's not close up I'm out of luck. 😂 This looks like a great way to join the yarns. I hope I can figure it out. 👏🏻 Thanks so much.

I've been searching for a solution to multiple color changes when weaving on a frame loom using the continuous strand method, and, hooray! I found this wonderful video and method. Took a bit of practice, and the wrong end of a small crochet hook to tuck in the ends, but I've got it now, and I'm ready to tackle those tricky plaids. Thank you, Chris!
