I love these I made one with charcoal and kaolin, colloidal oats, aloe vera powder. I also added a little xanthan gum and arrowroot, which helps to bring everything together once the water hits for nice added slip and a little gel like feel. I added some EO and carrier too. The possibilities are endless for customization. Been meaning to make a rose clay one with rose petal powder and papaya or strawberry powder. Thank you!

I've been making powder to foam cleansers for the past year and I love them. Very easy and so much fun

Cory, I think these cleansers are so easy to use and when marketed the right way can be very successful. I've made a few for my own personal use and for my daughters and sons. When they all went to Disney World last year, Cara took her powder to cleanser with her and all the girls ended up using it, because it's easy to use and no mess around the sink! They like it because it rinses away so easily too. So I guess I'd market it tword something like that. Thanks for sharing another great formula!

Hi Jill, yes, I totally agree! They are super travel friendly and work great! I especially like that you can use all kinds of plants to customize the formula to your liking!

Does this product have a pH? I've heard facial cleansers need to be between pH 4.5-5.5 so wondering how this one could be pH balanced if it wasn't in that range? thanks!!

This is exciting! May I ask, what makes you decide to use 1 surfactant and not for instance add betaine too?

How can I make bubble powder for bathtub?
@jillgross39682 жыл бұрын
That is a completely different kind of recipe. Maybe Cory will give a demo on this. The formulation is much different than a powder to foaming cleanser formulation.

Do you have to use an EO? How is the smell of the formulation before adding the EO?
@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany2 жыл бұрын
no, you don't have to use the EO. Before adding it in, it smells green, herbaceous and slightly bitter.

IM CURIOUS...,how did u do that with SCI without needing a respirator like when u make a shower gel or body wash......what make the difference
@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany2 жыл бұрын
Lol, I understand! I find that SCS is far more volatile than SCI. Also, this formula only calls for a little bit of SCI, And in those amounts it doesn’t seem to bother me. That being said, if I was going to make a big batch, I would wear a heavy duty dust mask for sure.
