This was my favorite thing when i was living up in Preston for about 6 months or so for work. Cool experience as an American. Found this pub out in the countryside with sheep and chickens all over the place. Tried this dish and loved it. Went well with several pints of cask ale! Thanks for the recipe!!

Hi Adam!!!! How’re you doing?! This looks amazing!!! I can’t wait to make this!!!! It’s perfect for the cold weather! I totally agree about the lamb stock. If I can’t get it I’ll use veg stock. But it’ll have to wait as we’re getting ready for our Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. That’s a big cooking holiday for us. I thought your Christmas 🎄 tree looked nice.👍🏽 But here in the US we NEVER put up our trees until after thanksgiving. ☺️ Stay safe and thanks again!

Hi Adam. I've watched about ten of your videos and everything you've made is spot on. Your hotpot looks great bud. I also love your idea of using hash browns to top your cottage pie. I initially thought, shit why haven't I thought of that? I'm going to put a thin layer of mash on then top it with hash browns n cheese n spring onions. Doing it tomorrow. I can't get to sleep for thinking about it. I fkn love cooking. Love your channel bud n you're one of the best cooks on KZbin. All the best 😊

@Adam_Garratt
@Adam_Garratt 3 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. OK so bubble and squeak is usually made with leftover veg from a big Sunday roast or Xmas Dinner. That's probably why you've seen many different recipes. Hey Adam. Thanks for your honest words I’m lucky atm as I’m in Australia but I’ve been through a very similar experience It happens when you feel that you are bashing your head constantly against a brick wall & you have no options & can’t stop doing it. I know you’ll be ok because you are not out of control really & you are & will address the problem. Especially in your case when the vaccine arrives. Just want to say that you are on the money with the idea of meditation. It sure worked for me. You also have to think about your life & try to figure out if there’s anything else you need to change. I did that & it also worked. Don’t worry about us, there’s plenty of your stuff for us to try while you look after yourself. Your brain has to know you will look after it Very best wishes from Aussie Bob

Boston,Massachusetts- what is a Maris piper? Comparative USA=? Worster is correct. We have a Worcestershire town named after England, it's one way to tell the locals from the others. Another way is the driving.

You need 2 tools to make life easier mate. A mandoline for slicing those potatoes and a garlic crusher for those garlic cloves. I will get a potato ricer as you suggested. Those mashed potatoes from the bangers and mash video were killer, thanks.

@@Adam_Garratt ha ha ha.... When they run across the windscreen at night and you don't know if they're inside the car or outside, it's a bit of a worry. This looks delicious! There's no way I can get lamb for a decent price in the states so I might use beef instead. Not sure if that's allowed but I think The consequences will be minimal
@Adam_Garratt

The consequences will be Lancashirians banging on your door in the middle of the night. But beef would be great, just not the same. But more importantly why on earth is lamb so expensive in the states!? 😂😱❤️
@jdd8826
@jdd8826 3 жыл бұрын
I wanted some ham hocks for split pea soup. And a piece of meat for an ossco bucco. And a lamb shank for a nice stew like yours. I don't have a first born to give away. I'll have to get a cheap cut of beef and slow cook it for 8 hours, low and slow.
