That's all nice and great for a big boys game. Me, as a small breeder preffer to keep my birds on a wood chipping and barley straw mix bedding. Its seems to be more comfy and suitable for quails. Eggs are clean just i need to pick them up from inside the cage plus i must replace bedding every 10 days. Btw, i learn a lot from you guys. Regards from Polish guy living in UK 🇵🇱 🇬🇧

Many different ways them. Takes more time to take care of them but they would be more comfortable

@@MyshireFarm that's right. As long i dont have too many birds its not take long time for clean my cage. I wouldnt do that if I had 6k birds as you. My biggest problem is hatching rate causing by humidity. Watching your video's helped me to find it out. Many thx from me for posting that so i can improve my knowledge and hopefully my hatching rate will rise soon. Regards

This is the best and most efficient cage I believe I've ever seen. I buy all of my quail from you guys and have excellent hatch rates as well. If you guys EVER start building and selling these, please let me know. I will gladly drive the 11 hours there and buy one!!!

Do you have an equipment listing or part list for the cages? I would be curious as to what and how much of each item is to build the cages.

So, I live in Florida and it stays a million degrees all year round. I just started my quail journey, and right now I have 20 juveniles in a 3 tier plastic hatching time enclosure that’s ok, but its kind of jail cellish to me. My question is would they be ok to build a cage outside under a bunch of shade or in my sunroom that gets a little stuffy too but has a fan and optional AC.
@MyshireFarm2 жыл бұрын
The sunroom or a cage under a tree would work great for them

Wasted material that holds that board, looking strong and don't need to be so strong.

I bought 75 quail hatching eggs from these guys and they are the healthiest quail I have hatched. Hatch rate was around 80% and no deaths after hatching which is rare. Not one died! I was also thrilled to death because I had only bought 2 varieties and they sent me 15 extra eggs and those were of different varieties. I probably have 8 different varieties and they were free. They are gorgeous quail. Would highly recommend.
