How To Make A Solid Dish Soap

Hello everyone! I have been intrigued to try a solid dish soap for some time now, and I have gotten a few requests to formulate one as they seem to be gaining popularity. After two months of research and developing my own formula, I can see why people like them. They are environmentally friendly as they don’t use big plastic packaging, they last a long time, and you can make them all natural if you like! Here is my video of how to make a solid dish soap!

I'm going to give this a try! I happen to use a round scrubby sponge that looks like a smiley face and it'd be perfect for this recipe. I'm sure it's an excellent recipe. ALL your recipes are....I know you don't give out a recipe until your well satisfied with the results personally. Seems like this could also be a good stain remover bar. Have you ever made a stain remover/laundry bar and if so do you have a video or recipe?

Could you add the borax to the lye solution?? Or does it have to be added after?

I like this formula and it lasts a long time. The only thing you really can't do with it is fill a sink with soapy water like you can with liquid dish soap.

Some people use a soap cage for this. You put the soap in and beat the water with it. It creates suds. That’s how it was done in the olden days
