I absolutely love how you design quilts to make them fun and easy enough to make. You honestly think outside the box which is why I absolutely love your videos. I ended up wanting to do two quilts now. The confetti and the string. Love you on this channel. I am a big fan of yours! Thanks for sharing all of your ideas with us all! As I have said in the past you are truly a plus to have in the quilting world for all of us.

Thank you Anna...you are so kind💛 Honestly.....I can't do "cookie cutter" quilts. They are boring to me because everyone is doing them following one pattern.....and since I can't follow a pattern to save my life LOL😂 I have to think of new ways that inspire me✅💛🧡💙💜 This channel is definitely a great creative outlet for me✅
@annablock80372 жыл бұрын
@@TheSewingChannel I can’t do cookie cutter quilts either. I think that’s why I love yours. I do copy your “patterns” since I don’t like to do the usual stuff. I am currently making the French rose but kind of even modifying how you did it to simplify it even more for me. I will send you a pic when done. Remember I sent a pic of the quilt as you go style jelly role. I also modified that to simplify it for me. So keep doing what your doing. I am much, much older than you and Remember the saying you can’t teach a dog new tricks….well you have actually taught this old dog a few new tricks. Keep thinking outside the box. Your teaching me as we go too. We love having you in our quilting life. Look forward to your next video. Keep them coming.

LOVE the colorful, scrappy star blocks with the "magic" center sashing!!!! I just may have to make a quilt or two or three using this pattern. I just became a "Blanketeer" for Project Linus, so I'll be making A LOT of quilts in the coming years! Fantastic charity and over 350 fellow Blanketeers have welcomed me with open arms within the first 48 hours of my joining the Facebook group! Really wonderful people and organization!!! If you don't have any scraps cut up some fat quarters or yardage to use. If you don't have any fabric go to the fabric store and buy small pieces ( 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 yard pieces of fabrics that you like) instant scraps, or ask around among your friends and family if they have any fabric or suitable clothing that could be cut up for quilting.
