imma copy and paste what i said to another viewer :D Playback > Timeline Proxy Mode > Quarter Res and can also do Playback > Render Cache > Smart if its still a bit slow you can do Project Settings > Master Settings (scroll down) - Optimized Media Format and Render Cache Format set to DNxHR SQ - Enable background caching after 1 second and you can right click ur clips and generate optimized media these settings should help out
