⚠𝗙𝗬𝗜 to everyone when you download a Java version it doesn't remove the last one you downloaded and it prioritizes the newest version over whichever one was downloaded last. So make sure you delete any Java version EXCEPT for the one you need. ⚠

Yeah! It is pretty simple. All you have to do is replace the: libraries, kubejs, mods, default config, and pack menu folders. That is all

The GPU really isn’t used for a server at all. It’s performance is based on CPU speed, RAM, and storage drive speed

I've successfully set up a server and correctly done port forwarding for it. My friend has found my server and added it, but it just stays stuck on the loading screen for him and eventually crashes. I do see his name pop up in the game but after a few minutes it just crashes for him. Any idea why that might be?

It could be his client. There also might be info in the logs... Also his client might have an error code or something.

im having an issue where when my friend joins it says connecting to server for like 10 seconds and then says timed out getsockopt idk how to fix it ive done like everything i could think of doing

I do exactly as you say and still get like ten million errors when I start my server. On top of that I can't even join because my Minecraft crashes :(

The errors on the server side are normal. On the client side do you get any specific error codes?

when i launch the startserver.bat file it will show that it found java 21, but it says a problem installing was detected, instal cannot continue.. i noticed it was the neoforge that was the issue so i tried running it alone - it gives me an error saying stream is null.. i have no clue what that means or how to go about it, can you please help??

Try making sure that you don't have any other java installed besides JUST 21. That should do the trick

Yeah minecraft lag is almost 100% based on the single core performance of the CPU. The best I can really tell you is to try maybe overclocking your CPU to get a little more speed or look at upgrading it.

Yeah it all depends on the version of Minecraft the pack is based on. 1.7.10 and before will be Java 8. 1.16.5 will be Java 11. Up to 1.20.1 is Java 17. And 1.21.1 is Java 18. Hope that helps!

It is for sure the most complicated part of the whole process. To find the local IP open CMD on the server PC and run “ipconfig /all” look for the IPV4 address (usually starts with 192.168.-.-) To find your public IP just Google “what is my IP” In your router you need to find were the port forwarding settings are. Next add a rule to forward port 25565 from the local IP of the server machine. It may give you options to also choose and external IP. If it does use 25565. It may give you options to choose UDP/TCP. Choose both. I hope that helps!!

Most routers have some sort of settings page… usually you can get to your router by going to a browser and typing in the IP of the router. To find this open up CMD on and pc on the network, run that ipconfig /all command and then find the “default gateway”. Usually this is something like 192.168.1.1

Maybe try and redownload the pack? I followed these steps a few days ago and it still works perfectly. Also if you want to double check your version of Java open up cmd and run “Java -version”

If installing Java 21 does not seem to have fixed this error be sure to restart your computer as mine did not seem to properly recognize Java 21 until I restarted.

Actually it is really simple so ill just respond here: On the left side of the screen under Server Management you will see a "modpacks" tab. Click on that and search for All the Mods 10. Click install on the left and it will install it to your server. :) Feel free to join my discord if you have any issues!

Have to tried making sure that there is no IP in the server properties, That you are joining using the Correct IPV4, that you have port forwarding set up correctly and that you have rules setup for the Windows Defender firewall to allow external access. One of those should help.
