Jeremy, the name of the other pliers are snap ring automotive pliers, I bought a set of them which you cut off the tips of them that were on the top of the points... I remember you told me about these, they are great. All your videos are so helpful, can't even begin to tell you how this has helped. thanks

Great videos! Have you ever made an octopus pendant from a fork? I would love to see you create one!

I’m using the ends of other pieces of silverware. Normally the smaller silverware or pieces that have a really pretty pattern down by the fork or spoon end.

New sub. Love your videos! Your elephant pendant is adorable and elegant. I, being ever disorganized, even appreciate your bit board. Will have to try making both. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents.

Search flat nail drill on eBay 😊 I used to do my wife’s nails and the nail drill carried over. I’m on my second hand piece but she’s going strong.

This is beautiful. Is it pure silver or silverplated?
@FlatwareCreationSS5 жыл бұрын
J FS Yes it is silverplate. If it were sterling I would be doing the grinding by hand with a file.

Fair video. Two things here as I watch you working. 1. PPE 2. No ventilation or vacum system You speak of a tumbler rotate or vibrates? Size or type of media? I work metal for 30 plus years and instructed said skill. Always teach the proper way not cutting corners as you did in both vedios I watched.

Thank you for your comment. I always wear my safety glasses. and when I’m using my tools sanders, Dremel and anything putting dust and metal in the air I now have my respirator. And I have added a ventilation system since then. For some of my videos where I’m only using the tools for a few moments I will forgo the mask so I can still talk. The tumbler is a rotary tumbler with 5# of jewelers stainless steel shot. It has 3 different shapes and no pins. I really appreciate your information and help. What other corners did I cut if I might ask?

@@FlatwareCreationSS guards on grinder. Power equipment placement. Should not reach over other equipment to use power equipment. Safety glasses are good to a point. But a face shield is better. When using drill press you have a vise on it please use it. Sooner than later the bit will take the work piece away from you. Nicks and small grind marks on hands after 30 plus years in a machine shop. Yes wheel and dermal stones etc. have exploded on me. Safety first in my shops.

Can't see what you're doing near the end.....you're totally out of the camera view. (Your work is so intricate at times that you really DO need someone manning the camera so that those closeup shots aren't missed! It's a shame to miss your instruction! You're very talented and we're here to learn! ) These elephants only have three legs? Wonder if it bothers anyone...if so maybe you can solder one of those left over cut-off pieces slightly behind the front or back prong to make it appear to be that missing leg?

Thank you for letting me know. I will put it on my list to remake that video now that I have more camera experience.
