Do your blocks for your arbor press stand up to bending stainless steel silverware or do you only do silver plate?
@FlatwareCreationSS11 ай бұрын
Yes, stainless steel takes its toll on them pretty quickly. I’ve been thin stainless, but I wouldn’t do anything really thick or sharp. It will wear them out really quickly.

Hi there buddy Nice work .. any way spoon rings can be made larger sizes by buying a bigger pinn and channel block reaching sizes from 10 , 11 up to 15 trying to avoid hitting with hummer on steel mandrel ? Because if all rings are about size 8 to reach a size 13 let’s say You will have to hit it so many times
@FlatwareCreationSS2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t seen a larger pin and block to do that. What I’ve done in the past is cut my ring a little bit longer still size it with the press, and I do the rest on the ring mandrel pretty much just driving it down towards the big end. My largest Mandel is size 15

How do I get a press setup like yours ?
@FlatwareCreationSS2 ай бұрын
@@josephjimenez175 the press is a 1 ton arbor press. And the bending kit is from Flatwearable.com. I have the larger kit. October 26 after a little practice you’ll be able to make rings super fast. In one day, you can make enough rings to pay for the kit three times over. So it is an investment, but it pays off very quickly.
