I normally don't watch videos this long without increasing the playback speed but my intrigue and nostalgia got the best of me. I especially liked the songs at 13:10 and 14:34. 13:57 sounded like a shop tune and 15:23 definitely made me especially sleepy lol. Great work!

YES, i swear every game OST is unique, but terraria's takes it to the next level, i've literally never heard anything similar, it's super funky and not that complicated in terms of synths, it's just full of different textures and blips.

I'd recommend to you the channel "Music Design" He produces entire remakes of Nintendo songs in Fl studio with every instrument line, and make a full song analysis, with how to recreate every sound, to the theory, to the song's context and everything

I'd love to see you break down Splatoon's music. Both games have a super unique feel that is a large part of what makes the world's culture so convincing. The tracks are fairly diverse, even having songs grouped into fictional bands, each with their own distinct style. Overall, I feel it could make for a super interesting analysis.

This is better than many of the covers people do, good video. The only thing you needed what the same motif played in most of the pieces you made. Once you get that catchy melody, you can really flesh this thing out.

the reason the accordion swells in volume is because in order to play it, the bellows fill with (and expel) air when the two halves are pulled apart or pressed together, similar to bowing a string instrument back and forth. the AC composers emulated this function of the accordion to a tee, even with the perfect cheesy soundfont, probably by using a midi keyboard’s mod wheel!

Ya know.. listening to you songs vs. the original game’s music, I think they use silence more than you. I don’t think your songs are worse, but I think it’s cool how the use of silence is a noticeable difference. At least for me.

Silence is definitely a huge part of Animal Crossing music. A few moments of silence can help the music sink in and give you a moment of quiet to just take everything in. Really if there's a favorite part of animal crossing of mine, it's that.

@@beingmegucaissuffering.5326 Only now i realize, hat's a typical characteristic of Kazumi Totaka's compositions. He made all the animal sountracks and the wii mii channel theme. The mii channel theme uses a lot silence, it's great how it's still an intricate piece of music with like only two layers, only using what is really necessary

I used to use Sforzando. And I used to play Animal Crossing: Wild World.
