I’ve never been the most environmentally conscious girl out there, mostly to do with me only being 18 and lacking most of the ingredients/tools/money to buy the aforementioned things, but I absolutely love this new style of content from you!! It’s so interesting, not to mention how calming your voice and content in general is! Perfect to watch before bed to wind down, or after a hard day. Much love Klaire x

I’ve come from the KlaireDeLys channel where I’ve watched you and followed you years, I’ve always loved your content. There’s something gentle about it that is always a pleasure to watch. You’re newer content, although something I may not make or do for myself - I still love! It’s just so refreshing to watch, I love your cinematography and aesthetic. I just love to support the things you’re passionate about. What a joy to watch!

Yes! I’ve been looking for this! If I’m not peeling apples in large quantities, can I freeze the scraps until I have enough to ferment?

I keep waiting for, “that’s it, you’re done!” at the end and I’m always disappointed when you don’t say it. Klaire that’s your thing and we love you for it! I am seriously digging these DIY videos for creating minimal waste. You’re a boss. I have been trying to figure out how to use something other than Saranwrap/Clingfilm bc so much plastic waste, and I’m interested in trying your beeswax cloth. These videos are just so interesting! Now I know how to make apple cider vinegar even if I don’t know what mother or scoby mean in terms of fermentation and brewing apples.

You can use it for cooking, cleaning, skincare, haircare, I even use it in the water for cut flowers to make them last a little longer. I'll be featuring it in a LOT of videos, so I wanted to show how to make it first.

Found this after watching a ton of other videos! Duh! Can I ask, most other videos talk of a second ferment, or rather, when they strain the apples, they store the jars a few weeks and smell or taste or test for acidity/ preference. I’m still not sure how they stop it further fermenting once it reaches the level you like. Otherwise, why mention checking it a month after straining? Have I explained myself properly? It seems to me that once it reaches your preferred level you’d have to do something to prevent it getting any more acidic. Sorry this is a bit garbled but it has really confused me, and I have my first batch on the go! 😅 great to hear a fellow Brit, and have subscribed.
