This randomly came up in my recommended. I am allergic to all nuts, and often get frustrated with recipes using nut butter, cashews, etc. This for me was an easy swap: I used sunflower butter. Let me tell you: the brownie batter baked oatmeal is TO DIE FOR. Oh my goodness. It tastes so decadent. Like dessert! Definitely making this a staple in my repertoire. Thank you :)

I love these recipes. Just as info for anyone who is celiac: your pdf says gluten-free recipes. It is important to make sure that you buy oats that are labelled gluten-free. Oats are often grown in rotation with wheat or other grains on the same fields and therefore are not 100% gluten-free. I just wanted to add that :-)

Just came across your channel. Would like to try the plant based route but in my opinion, it seems like it would cost more than the "normal" route. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I'm trying to move my family away from the processed sugars, know that I'm pre-diabetic and want to naturally turn that around. I am intrigued by your baked oatmeal options/recipes, which I submitted for the PDF. Then I have your Plant Biased Cookbook in my cart on Amazon. Like I said, I really want to try this NEW way of eating, but I don't normally have tahnini, coconut sugars, etc... had to look up (was on your recipe pdf as well) what a flax egg was! Lol...it's like learning a new language. New sub here gonna start learning!!! Thank you again!!

It’s so great to hear from you!! Yes, a plant based diet was super intimidating to me at first but it gets easier until it’s second nature! And eating a plant based diet can be as cheap or expensive as you want. Some of the cheapest foods are vegan (rice, beans, tofu, veggies). But you can also spend a lot if you buy specialty items. But you don’t need to! Thank you for your support! I hope my book is helpful as you get started!

I haven’t tried doing that using these specific recipes but I know it’s a thing! If you try blending any of these recipes let us know how they turn out!
